DIY European Mount: Simple Way to Whiten a Deer Skull (Graphic)
Today I am going to show you how I mount my deer skulls, with a simple and easy method to get skulls clean and white!
DIY European Mounts can be an awesome way to display your trophy with the satisfaction of doing the skull mount yourself!
Step 1. Skin the deer head
Step 2. Fill up your pot with water and some dawn soap
Step 3. Pressure wash the loose meat off
Step 4. Wrap the lower parts of the antlers
Step 5. Fill up your pot with half water and half 40% by volume CLEAR developer you buy from a beauty supply place
Step 6. Rinse Skull
Step 7. Let dry, touch up antlers and mop and glo!
Then Hang it on your wall and enjoy!

To help prevent having to stain the base of the antlers wrap them in plumbers tape first then serane wrap it. This helps create a more water tight barrier.

What’s the water to peroxide ratio gallon to gallon???

Thank you for the video. Great , thorough job. I'm gearing up to do a few buck skulls soon. Trying to get the right propane burner and pot size. What size pot are you using? What size pot would be best for whitetails? Ive seen a ton of the turkey frying kits on amazon just not sure which to get. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you

Turkey pot is great for one maybe 2 deer at a time depending on the antlers. That’s what I use most of the time.

@@TexasEmpire Any particular size pot? Seems like 30qt pot comes with most set ups. Is that what you have?

I believe so. As long as the pot is deep enough to get a deer skull in. If you are worried about ordering it online go to a store that has them to get a visual first
