I'm not going to build such a scooter anytime soon, but I must confess, I'm really impressed by your skills! Impressive DIY project imo!

That is the best DIY electric scooter build I've seen on KZread great work.
You did a tremendously good job!

Yup thx
that was so neat a build that if i never watched this video and saw a photo of the scooter i would 100% believe it was bought from a shop! thats a testiment to your build skills right there!
Great job, I love you attention to detail. I am currently doing a similar project, I am using a 10 inch hoverboard and using the motors, battery and charger to build an adult size trike.
Usually when i watch youtube videos, people's battery work scares me. I like yours. Nice work.
I love how easily everything was for you mine will take me for ever to build and look nothing as good as this one great job
Amazing video! Thank you for the detailed instructions. I am building one now and all I need to do is install the electronics and I will be on the road!
Outstanding! A very nice piece of work.
Great video! Very complete/detailed but not excessively long!
Wow. That's awesome. Looks great.
I have never seen such an excellent job, I am impressed. truly. Genious!!
Its a CLEAN DIY build, I have seen around.
I did a 350w conversion recently, I made the battery 250wh 7ah 2p10s Mj1 ... I split the pack and placed 4 batteries within each side hole of the chassis rail, as well as 12 batteries in the centre channel, there was also room in the centre channel for the controller ! I still have rear suspension too ! ;) I may copy your battery cover technique !
You look amazing, buddy. What a top design! Congratulations
Really awesome work, dude. Really well done! 😀 BTW, I made a 10w LED flashlight inspired in your 100w one. I think it's going to be published in two weeks. 😊
I did exactly the same project few months ago and scooter still going strong. I have overvolted this motor to 75 volts as i have found it was slow on hoverboard battery that is only 36volt nominal. Now it pulls like a horse and peak at 2000wats!!! You should make polyurethane tyre for back wheel as this solid rubber cause lots of rolling resistance and your motor will be hot after few miles. Mine after polyurethane mod runs cool and consume 50%less energy so its a mod worth doing

greg can u elaborate? Isn't easier to replace tire for pneumatic one ??
@greg23842384
6 жыл бұрын
Olga Piskorska you can't replace with pneumatic tyre as there is no space for tube valve you would have to drill thru hub motor and magnets and then motor stator would prevent wheel from spinning unless you would somehow mods this and route valve to come out on the side of motor. I basicly used polyurethane same material that skate wheels are made off. You can buy kit mix two part like resin and pour into mold and you get perfect low rolling resistance wheel. Please check my channel I have short video showing my scooter partially finished

Sweet build, well done
Well done! Thanks for sharing your project.
Very nice work !!! Good for you !!! I like your scouter!!!
This was an awesome build! Hope you enjoy the scooter :)
A video I've looking since many months 🙏
Very impressed, I have a broken hoverboard just sitting around so I was gonna try and make something out of it, the only problem is that I lack some electronics knowledge. I would love to see you explain like what and why the electronics parts do, for instance that yellow connector, the different wires that stick out of that speed controller box.
Man, you rock! I´ll follow your lesson and build one!
This was a very nice video, you did a great job and you explained everything really nicely. Thank you :)
Where is the brake?
Nice work!
wow, a genius with this stuff!!

Fantastic build and excellently filmed.
Nice job! I like that its RWD
Impressive and clean build!
Im very impressed. Thank you for the video.
Very cool, nice work! I'm inspired to do a similar project now.
Very clean build!
Fantastic work my frend!! Best Regards from Spain!!!
Impressive clean wirings.
Excellent job, through and through. I can do all the steps you did, but not as cleanly as you ! Congratulations. In hindsighting, designing a covered place for the controller inside the brackt would have been the better option. Still, a great build
Nicely done and thanks for showing us.
Awesome Job
Thanks for sharing this. I’m thinking of doing something with my granddaughter’s hoverboard.
Good nice and neat job!
That bracket man, sweet...
Nice work, With the hover board I will make a push unit to latch on the back of the scooter plus a steel cable to tilt the hover board to go forward or to stop. Cut and narrow the fibre glass stand on the hover board as it will not be needed. Presto!!
Nice job, looks same as i did, but ur video is very detailed and looks more upgraded than mine version 🤗
Impressive build and also video production. Keep up, Jehu. Thanx
What a great built, the best for a long time for me:)
can you post plans of the hub motor mounting bracket please?
Hi, great video, really done well. I'm also planning for a similar build, is it possible to share the drawing of the bracket you made? (so that i can customize it as per my requirement).
You nailed it.... If you can point me in a direction of a Razor 300 type motor connected to a Yeddoo type scooter with a Shimano Alfine internal 11-speed hub with the electronic gearing. That should be your next project...that was freaking awesome...
Very nice conversion. Good work.
That's awesome man. But I was thinking why not mod the stock rear suspension to accept the hover board wheel?! Either way amazing job on the built.

Because he would have not enough space for the battery & controller ! (unless he copied my technique ;) --- "" did a 350w conversion recently, I made the battery 250wh 7ah 2p10s Mj1 ... Very nice work !!! I like your scouter!!! It would be great to have brakes. Brakes is important in crowded places. Maybe add breakes in another movie ;)
That's sick! Wish I could do that to my kick scooter but I don't have the skills necessary.
Greetings, thank you for sharing excellent work, you would be so kind to tell me that you soldered or soldered in the back of the controller, thanks from Colombia
Good job, looks awesome.
my respect to you sir, you are very creative.
I'm so glad I save like three of these things but only the motors
Good job, bro!
Amazing. Thanks for making such an excellent video!!
Epic mate thanks for making video
GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!! 😀👍
super cool!
Congratulations !!! Very good work.
awesome build. i mean, you could buy a xiami scooter for basically the same price and have an app and mod the controller, but i like the idea of learning. things like this i want to do with my kids as they get older so they can learn to figure things out on their own as adults. fun video to watch regardless.
Mad skills! Build a simple car next. God bless , aloha
Really nice build
To ask if both wheels are functional. Just a question for the distance to be covered.
Looks very clean for diy :) gj
Very nice perfection is your plus point. Keep it up have fun with your scooty.
Awesome project!!! Good job! Anyone know how to make the hoverboard motor brake?
Hi I am again can you please a video or a plan show how everything is wired please because I would like to copy it
You did awesome dude
Very clean nice work. Great that you chould use a broken hooverboard to make this C😎😎L project.
Nice work, my friend.
Really nice! why didnt you keep the rear suspension tho?
Great, excellent, wonderfull ! Thanks for your dedication!
Very professional work
Very good craft !
Please do a diy video on converting a knee scooter into a seated electric scooter. Please pretty please! I’ll bet you’ll go viral!
Really impress hope to see more electric scooter video
You could get yourself a regenerative braking able controller. It would solve the braking issue while being able to charge your battery as well
I am impressed , however why have you not included lights for the front and rear ?.
Nice job! Nice DIY video!
Nice work. Excellent explanation
awesome to build nice work
Wow not bad. I like your work! I build an electric longboard with hoverboard parts.
Excellent Work
Nice build
You can add the second motor from the hoverboard on the back so you have more power
Your a clever guy wish I could make something like this.
Very well done informative video!
muy buen trabajo es usted un ingeniero, very good job.
My friend, kudos on 1) The build. And 2) The Editing!! Superb. Succinct. Awesome!!!! You should make a video on "video editing".....Lol
Great job!
So good really enjoyed that. Subbed.
Hi! Awesome build! How did you find the wattage of the motor? I have an old monowheel motor (14'') that I want to use for a big scooter (offroad) project but I'm not sure of which speed controller I must buy... Also I'm worried with the hall sensors because it might not be color coded as the motor is. Did you have this issue? Thanks
Awesome man!
Question about the VESC, does it need cooling? Running 50A continuous through it must get things pretty hot. I plan to use this with a 10S lipo to power a 350w hub motor scooter. My current cheap chinese controller uses trapezoid waveform so things are very noisy and there is lots of power loss. This controller seems to output a clean sine wave, however there are no hall sensor wires?
