DIY Dual Monitor Stand + Desk Organization
Фильм және анимация
As a photographer, I spend a lot of time at my desk editing. My workstation matters to me. This DIY stand cost about $45 in materials (a bunch of 1x6 red oak from Home Depot), and puts my monitors at the right height, and helps keep my desk more organized, while also having a nice aesthetic. It's 5 feet long and holds two 27" monitors, as well as hard drives, speakers, etc.
Let me know if you have any questions!

Looks good! So satisfying seeing those speakers fit under the riser perfectly 👌
How you did it? do you have another video showing the process???
What Stain or Oil did you finish the red oak with? Is there much flex/deflection in the top board, given the span? The grain lined up on the mitered corners looks great!

Ingerick04 thanks! No flex, the wood is hard enough it's extremely sturdy. I used tung oil which is a favorite of mine. It brings out the natural grain nicely without adding other color or build up.
@calebkerr keep up the great work
Caleb, What angles did you make your mitre cuts?

60°
What is the desk height (cm) ?
Why the gap down the middle? Why not just butt the two boards up to each other?
People care about how you made it, not about how you organize it... seems pretty obvious
WTf? YOu didn't know how you made the damn monitor stand!! ( facepalm). Thumbs down.
