Sam, this turned out amazing! I love it, it looks so cozy like a little secluded secret garden in your yard. And I love how easy it is to replace boards if ever you need to. Or if your baby trees grow in and you are less looked upon by all your neighbors. Also: congrats on your upcoming wedding, what a wonderful idea to have a backyard wedding. And I’m so here for the landscaping! I have a tiny inner city patio that I’ve covered in all manner of plants and I’m lucky to have it I know, but I’d love an actual garden, so let me live vicariously through you by all means! OMG!! Thank you SOO much for sharing your privacy fence build!! My husband flipped over it too! We are going to do this with our deck, more for sun and wind protection than privacy, but it works. This hoft system is the bomb! I didn't even know it existed till now. Yes it is on the pricey side, but we are renters, and we love the idea that we can dismantle it and take it with us when we move. How about using a router to carve a design into the planks, especially helpful that the planks can be removed if need be? Or create a memory board - everyone at the wedding can wood burn onto a plank?

Excellent work! Once your trees grow you might like to reduce the length of the front railings so that you can enjoy the garden… just sharing my thoughts. It does look a little boxed up because of your need for privacy, I am sure. But what craftswomanship! Wonderful !
