Barry means spear apparently should have mentioned that
Barry, you're the Jamie Oliver of cooking. You make it look like you're having fun.
Loving the look of these. I am a UK chef, I love piping. You can be so much more intricate when piping. Look forward to seeing your lessons.
I've watched the whole video just to see you eating it. So satisfying when you're on a diet!
i've been following you on youtube since your very firsy country taste tests (since i'm dutch and I love them) and very excited about all the new content you are gonna fill your channel with. Good luck! Greetings from Eindhoven 😊
Wow another exciting recipe to try and one that brings back childhood memories too. These and turnovers were always served at grandparents evening tea for the family. I am looking forward to trying this at the weekend to surprise my Grandfather! Thank you for such a great recipe as always!
This is such a big throw back for me cuz I always got one when I was little and we'd go to a fair. Love them!
im glad youre getting a studio. makes me happy mate it shows you are doing well. just dont change and become an arse like some youtubers. you definitely do not seem like a person who would do that though so im not gonna worry. take care mate.
Idk one of the biggest reasons i subed bc you made cooking food even more fun to do and watch but now all them people are just going to make you like any other cooking channel

loved the video Barry it's one of my favourite things in the world no I can make it at home 😀😁😁😀
I can only speak for myself, but I'm super excited for the changes to come!
I used to get these in the states as a kid they were 3 times smaller though and no fruit. one of my favorite pastries hars to find now
1. love the new logo 2. love the video 3. never stop being a family man barry!
just saying this is one of the first recipe videos I've watched and I was very impressed. The vid was easy to follow and simple. Definitely going to try this!
Most fantastic thing you've ever made!
great video! I made them a few months back only with the puff pastry I rolled it out and sprinkled icing sugar on it folded it up and repeated. adds extra layers and also sweetness as if puff pastry wasn't bad enough! however it was delicious!
a pizza cutter would be awesome for cutting the strips.

yes!
Ty for this. These are just about my favorite, however........I live in Texas and even in more high end bakeries, they are filled with something similar to birthday cake icing. I would love to try these. 😛
this looks great and iv got so many strawberries from the garden I don't no what to do with them, now im going to make these and use them at the bottom
I am guessing you could run some chocolate through the cream if you wanted or dip the horns in chocolate too if you wanted. I did see some one use hundreds and thousands (ice cream sprinkles) to make a rainbow like coating which was effective.

awesome yes lots of ways really
Will make these with my 3 granddaughters once the kitchen remodel is done. Thinking of baking the cones without the sugar, fill with whipped cream, and provide a little cup of melted chocolate to dunk in.
Cream horns were always my mom's favorite so this reminded me of her. Looks fantastic! Yum!
Cheddar strawberries yas! They are the most delicious strawberries you can get, Good choice Barry!
Mmm looks and sounds so tasty, especially with the apples!... Reminds me a little bit of another pastry dessert usually with cream and fruit called 'matchsticks' you should give them a go! The cone looks so much cooler, though!
so just finished work and waiting for the bus, whilst watching barry rub oil onto a metallic....um....phallus....not how i expected my evening to start
These look amazing! You said that English strawberries were the best in the world. That's how I feel about our Oregon strawberries. Our strawberry season is relatively short, so most of the year the only fresh strawberries we have in the markets are from California -- they are usually large and look beautiful, but just don't have the taste that our locally grown strawberries do. Since I think a lot of the U.K.'s climate is similar to our western Oregon's climate, I imagine your English strawberries might compare favorably with our Oregon ones. It would be amazing to get a chance to compare in person. Ah -- the dream of visiting U.K. ... maybe one day. Thanks for all your videos, Barry. You're super fun to watch.

Are the best strawberries are the wild ones, picked in the woods on a summers morning, tiny about the size of your little finger tip, but oh so sweet.
I remember a bakery that used to exist in Alton, IL called Sunrise Bakery. Whenever my mother and I would go there, we would get cream horns.
I am a trainee chef! I love baking so I hope to go into patisserie soon too 😋
Hey noticed the new picture and banner, gotta say I'm gonna miss the old one but it's got a new vibe to it! Also love the recipe might have a go myself haha :)

You need to lay them on their side so if you fill their too much they will lose the cream
Watching Barry make the cones was like a nostalgic flashback to the TV show 'Art Attack' lol Those are some epic and HUGE cream horns :D
oh my that looks sooo good! I will try this...thanks!
It is possible to buy the moulds, which if you make them a lot, it will work out cheaper than using paper plates and foil. i used to make pastry for a living and I would buy puff for home it is so much less hassle.
Love the home made cones & cream. Fun to make, fun to eat. Thank u!!!😀
Those are the largest cream horn I've ever seen!! Yummies!!!
love the new logo barry and i love this recipe really annoyed i have to wait to try it.
It looks amazing I think I might try that
You have no idea how much I want to eat this now
I have the moulds for this they were not expensive but it is good when we can adapt things
This looks amazing Barry!!!
The new logo is definitely different , going to miss the old one 😭😭 but i'm sure i will get used to it . You can buy some cones especially for cream horns but they are a little smaller than the ones you made. 👍👍
hey Barry! I don't get any readymade puff pastry in the place I stay... can you make a video on puff pastry from scratch??

It's much easier to buy. with all the rolling, folding, and resting it takes about a day to just make the pastry.
that looks SO GOOD
I've never had a cream horn before, I'll have to try this someday.
Whoa Barry, is there a new logo coming? My phone popped up with a blue MVK logo

Loving the rebrand!!
They are so naughty! I like the size as well. You'd know if you'd had one, definitely. Got a copy of your book today - it's blinding. I'm well impressed with it. Nice one!
I LOVE CREAMHORNS SO MUCH
Cream horns are one of my childhood faves too :)
Childhood flashback. Now I have to make these for my children!
This video has the level of innuendo that I have come to expect from Barry.

hi Barry!! this is amazing, it makes my mouth water😍
really nice i am going to try it
omg looks so good
I'd love to see you do a whole video on 10 different fondue recipes or at least 5 and they can be 5 of your choice your favorite ones but I'd really love to see you do one that includes seafood like shrimp or lobster and even scallops.
wow so good been years since I had a cream cone 😋
Back home when we were kids we had cones made out of recycled empty tins opened up and formed into cones. They lasted for as long as I remember and didn't collapse.
I want to make it and I haven't even watched the video yet!!!!!!
Nice recipe Barry! Next time, fill them with vanilla pudding. That's how you get them here in Belgium. Really worth trying!
You need to come to Florida in February and have fresh picked Plant City Strawberries. They are about three times the size of yours and more likely than not sweeter.
Whoa.. The new logo is so funky!
also i actually like that you just lathered up oil like that because i've never touched spray oil in my life so i just kinda went "oh yeah, i can just use oil like that!" :~) the old school tips really helps!
These use to be very common over 20 years ago. You could find find them in almost every bakery right alongside apple turnovers. I loved them both. Sadly the cones are extinct in bakeries and apple turnovers no longer have apple in them.
loving the new logo
Very well done. 👍
those cones are so mighty that they would win you a game of Cones of Dunshire
They are so huge! That amount of cream would make me feel sick 😰 Excited for the future of My Virgin Kitchen!
Looks nice. When you cut the pastry in strips, wouldn't it have been easier and faster to cut them when it was rolled up? and than just rolled out the strips in stead?
This looks amazin'! Think I'll try it with a strawberries and a nutella drizzle.
in the netherlands we call them "roomhoorns" i make them allot. and puff pastery is in dutch "bladerdeeg"
looks awesome Barry, still very excited for the new stuff :)
Have you tried doing a savory version? Tandoori chicken, yoghurt and salad works well.
You could probably use these for ice cream, too. If I made this, that's what I'd try.

Anyone else get nervous when he said he wanted to talk to us? Like oh no dad I swear I didn't do anything wrong!! Hahaha
That is the largest cream horn I've ever seen! Do they really come that large in your area?!?! This looks like fun and so impressive looking. In the Eastern US and Florida I've only seen them with cream filling. No flavors other than chocolate and vanilla. Thanks for widening my horizons Barry. See ya later.

loving the fun zooming! At first I thought the camera got a mind of its own. LMBO.
, yum and I love the new logo it's cool
That looked delicious. 😍
Hi Barry, about the lemon curd. There are some really easy microwave recipes online on how to make it. Can you believe that MICROWAVE! You should try it some time :) Be prepared because there is a lot of lemon, butter and sugar involved 😉
another great one. that's Barry
I love your Chanel. Looking forward too you in the studio. Were did you get your oven mit??? I love it.
Could you trim the cardboar cones flush to the pastry to mut them into the oven standing up? Might bake more evenly
Hey Barry, just wondering if there's a reason why you didn't stand the horns on their ends when you cooked them ?
We make these at my work but they never look this good!! We don't have fruit in them we have apple and raspberry jam with synthetic cream 😍

Callie Masters it's lovely it's called synthetic but it's actually just like the squirty cream but thicker? If you ever go in a cake shop or any shop and they have eclairs or anything else with "cream" in it but it's not in the fridge then it's "synthetic " ! It's very common just not common knowledge ;)

Love the new logo.
Wow the logo changed! Love it! ❤️
hey, I am currently studying patisserie in Le Cordon Bleu in London ;)
Yes, Barry. The Viking horns would be great. Just don't use the filling or your hair will regret it.
have you ever considered doing a video where you make your own puff pastry? i see alot of chefs using ready made but i havent seen seem someone make their own in awhile.

psycho face Because its a whole lot of work.. you have be very patient folding that butter in.. and its a very long process.
Loving the new look Barry :)
I love Back to the Future!!!
You can actually get cream horn molds, they come in sets of 12. They're not that big though. Piping bags are easy to use, practice on buttercream for cakes, it's easy to handle, doesn't go super hard and isn't too runny
I like the new logo!
