I just tried this and for me, the video was misleading. I rotated the bezel to the same position, and was able to slip a thin metal phone screen removal tool under the bezel. I pried until I could get something thicker in there, and it was difficult. Once I did, after severely marring the case and bezel, I was able to lift the bezel slightly--but not the entire thing, it simply bent up at that corner! I then realized I should lift, then rotate, and lift in another spot slowly so the entire bezel loosens and pops off. I DID NOT experience the bezel simply coming off after magically poking a flat tool in the right spot. I am not blaming anyone but myself, I could have stopped with I was meeting obvious resistance. But I'm not built that way and now I have a bent bezel. I hope this helps someone.

Damn, that sucks!! For me the bezel was alarmingly easy to remove - I just inserted a thin screwdriver in there and rotated it slightly and the bezel just popped off. Regardless of rotation/position I might add! I'll add a PSA to the description to hopefully help others avoid damage.

How do you find the part number for Citizen bezels? Where do you buy them? The 3M tape is glue?

Thanks! If I recall correctly, it didn't come with any adhesive. If you heat the bezel slightly before removing the original insert, you just might be able to re-use the original adhesive. Or just put in a few dabs of B-7000.

What are the measurements of the bezel insert

For me is better to put the sticker when the bezel is on the watch to try to have it as adjuster as possible to the center

Where I can send my watch to replace the bezel if I don’t want to do it by myself?

I'm sure if you just get the necessary parts (bezel + adhesive) any local watchmaker should be able to take care of it no problem.

While I don't have definite info, in photos the NY0084 looks identical to NY0040, just a different color, so I presume it should fit. You can try to measure if the inner diameter is 30mm and outer diameter 36mm.

Hi! KZread doesn't like direct links too much, but the site is theyobokies.com. Search for NY0040, I think there are two designs available. They arrive from Hong Kong if I'm not mistaken.

Unfortunately not - haven't found at least. The modding scene for this watch seems pretty nonexistent and I haven't found any suitable ones for other watches either.

I believe it is outer 36 mm, inner 30 mm.
