DIY - Cat House 1 Top Part (FREE PATTERN INCLUDED - 2 SIZES)

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

This cat house will be loved by cat lovers! Because the house doesn't have a bottom, you can put it on the cat wherever they're sleeping right now! My cat usually likes to sleep inside blankets, so she calls me to lift the blanket so she can get in. But after using this cat house, she always sleeps in there and doesn't even call me whenever she needs to sleep. Not only does my cat like to go in the house, but also likes to push the house down and sleep on top of it when she gets too warm. Try making one for your cat as well!

How would you make this but turn it into a sleeping bag for cat with the opening. What type of foam did you use

I noticed during the video that the foam is smaller than the fabric, especially on the gusset pieces. I didn't noticed on the printed pattern to cut the foam out smaller and how much. Also, what size seam allowance are you using?

The foam is smaller then the fabric to make it easier to stitch the fabrics together. It is possible to make it with the same size of foam as the fabric, but we do recommend cutting out the seams of the foam. The seam allowance is 3/8". Thank you for your comment!

Question, how wide is your bias stripe that you used to enclosed the raw seam inside? Love this and I will be making one soon. Many thanks!

I do thank you for your informative reply. I am wondering if I could use fabric cut 3/8" wide and double fold it and attach to the seams? I'm new to sew, so that is why I am asking the question. Plus, I do thank you in advance.

@@sharonw667 The bias is 1 3/4" wide. But it is called 3/8" wide because it is 3/8" wide when it is double folded. To make the bias, see this video! kzread.info/dash/bejne/YqaA1Ml-gcm9o6w.html
