Love it mate. Nothing stupid fancy just practical
That red light on the blown fuse is very cool; inevitably are always doing this on the dark
Schmick set up guys, the little steps for Bianca is too cute.👍
OMG, now I can see why you did the canopy walk around! You're selling it! Someone will be able to pick up a bargain at that price. Can't wait to see what you're putting on the back next
I went down the same path with plastic kmart drawers, they're not perfect but they weigh nothing, don;t have runners so excellent use of space , which makes up for their defficiencies. Thanks for sharing. Cheers
Looking great, some good ideas here I’ll likely use in the future… thanks for the detailed rundown 👍🏻
A design born out of real-world experience. Good one. 👍
Great run down and you have a very practical, usable set up. A place for everything and everything in ....... :)
Awesome job🎉 love your work- thx so much 👏🏻❤😊
Another informative video, thanx to you both.
Thanks for the walk through.. some great ideas there 😊💕👍🏽
Never comment on videos but mate appreciate all these vids. Have my MRT canopy going on in a few weeks and you’ve got some great tips in your vids I’ll be coming back to reference for sure! Cheers!

No worries at all mate glad you like them!
hey mate love the fit out no bullshit fancy stuff. only what you need. just like mine is going to be. great set up thanks and safe travels
I love yr setup mate and love the Dmax very tidy , looks 👌
I've got the Office work drawers rather than the Kmart ones, same thing but slightly cheaper, and Inhave the same issues. I'm currently getting a custom fridge organiser made to store all of my cooking and eating gear on the front of my fridge, while a similar one stores spices on my slide out kitchen and a third on the back wall to hold my knives. Frees the space up for more food storage while making everything super easy to grab quickly.

Nice one! I've been thinking about those fridge organisers for a while, seem like a really practical way to store things.
First of all " Congrats on the 20K subscribers " Great clip Daniel

Thanks!! 🙂
do you still have to give back the canopy/tray to MRT or swap back to your one?
very nice 👍
It's such a good looking setup! Ha, how's the kmart paper stuff for the win 😂 omg your tackle box made me laugh! Looks awesome, great video

Thank you!! Haha yes the Kmart vinyl continues to surprise us with how long it's lasting 😂
Maybe a fridge organiser to stick on the fridge door where you can store often used things for easier access

Great suggestion, I've been considering getting one for a while now and would definitely make that stuff a lot more convenient to access. 🙂
Mate outstanding work. If you wouldn't mind sharing dimensions list and design I'd like to give it a crack.... Noting I have zero skill 😂
Howdy Guys. I can see that the Blind Spot radar sensors on your Dmax have been relocated. Do you find this has caused any issues? - I have a MW canopy on my Dmax and since the sensors were relocated, I notice the blind spot indicators randomly light up.

Hey mate, for the first year or so they worked perfectly but after a bit of rough driving up near Shark Bay the blind spot monitoring system error lights showed up. After returning from that trip I gave them a good clean and they started working again for a few months, but now seem to malfunction quite often unfortunately.
Does the battery fit in that spot behind the draws? Fill the gap, false floor over the top. Gives you more room behind the fridge.

Yeah it would fit there quite comfortably, the reason I haven't moved it there was I did want to mount an inverter to the headboard at some stage and didn't want to run the 0 B&S wiring all the way to the back, but I agree that would be the perfect use for that space!
Where on earth are you getting your ozw4d lights. I can’t find the 36” red and white anywhere ! Also, amazing build man . Love seeing how much you build on your own

Thanks mate! The lights are from "Offroad Living" here in WA, they're the "Allspark" lights. www.offroadliving.com.au/lighting-fans/led-strip-lights/allspark-led-dual-color-strip-lights
Great vid would you go for the red or orange light? Im tossing up the teralume ones and these all spark

Thanks mate! After testing both I'd definitely say red is more effective against bugs/insects, but gives off less light overall. Orange is a bit of a 'middle ground' being pretty effective against bugs/insects but still allowing you to get quite useful light around camp. So with that being said it really comes down to personal preference, for my I'm happy with the red.
Amazing set up man!!! How do you go with heat inside the canopy? Does it get hot? I’m thinking about installing some vents into mine🤙

Thanks mate!! Surprisingly it's not too bad actually, I think the large tent up top which stops the sun hitting the roof of the canopy makes a big difference so might be a different story without it. 🙂
Hi Daniel & Bianca, Great video as always. If you don’t mind me asking, what brand fridge and what size did you run as a freezer when you did your longer trip and were you happy with it ? Cheers, Mal

Hi Mal, we took a cheap "MyCoolman" fridge/freezer with us to Karijini which did the job, but we found it struggled to stay to the -18 degrees we set it to, often sitting around -10, -11 instead. With that in mind we probably wouldn't recommend one of those, but haven't tested anything else so there's every chance other brands would have also struggled in the hotter temperatures inside a black canopy. Cheers, Daniel.

@@explorebound Thanks Daniel, having a look at the clip again where you showed the fridge and then having a look at the my cool man catalogue, I think the one you used was “the roamer”. It has a climate class of “N” which indicates the fridge performance is only guaranteed in ambient Temperatures of up to + 32 degrees. Cheers Mal
Partner took great delight in reminding me how much extra space he now has beside the fridge for his solo travel the next couple of months now he doesn't have to carry a folding step stool there... 99% of 4WD girls Carry a Folding step.... prove me wrong. 🤣🤣
Good vid guys. Whete do you carry your port a loo?

Thanks mate! That lives in that little blank space on the RHS of the canopy when we need to bring it, that little spot is quite handy for a lot of things haha. 🙂
Noice Vid. Maybe add XBAR? Compressor? 200W Lithium, Roof Solar, 2000w Inverter.. it just never ends..... we are getting Bump Steer fix done this Friday YAY!! Upper and Lower control arms on DMAX. Maybe adda Facebook acct/link ??
20K subs...going well. seems only yesterday when you only had a 1-2K...

Do you have heaps of sponsors?

No official sponsors for the channel at this stage, although that would definitely help now that I'm doing this full-time haha. Companies do occasionally provide products that are included in videos (always disclosed in the video) but that's about it really.
