Today's video is a mix of all the clips we had recorded last summer during our DIY camper ambulance build. This is all the prep work we did before beginning our conversion from stripping it down to the frame, removing all the wiring and exterior lights. We pretty much tore it down to bare bones, so that we coudl start from scratch. The vidoe jumps aroufn alot, but it should get better moving forward. What an undertaking! Love how you and Jeff work side by side, lol. My husband and I would be arguing non stop. I just want to jump in and get at it, he’s the take your time and think it through kinda guy. Looking forward to seeing this as you continue making your dreams come true!

I think it could be done, depending on one’s aluminum welding skills. I’ve also seen some pop up options, which I imagine would have been custom built. I feel you’re only limited by your imagination with these builds😂

How exciting!! I immediately subscribed to this channel too. It has been a lifelong dream of mine to rebuild an ambulance to live in and have my sewing and reselling business in it. I don’t have a traditional(?) home but I am lucky that I have a space to stay in between my client bookings for my first business. I can’t wait to see your adventures ahead. Thanks for sharing!!

@@TabsJeffthanks for asking Tabs! Most people would often say “so you’re homeless?” 🙄 I call them host homes. I’m in year 12 of being a nomad. My first business, animal caretaking, has me traveling 80%+ of the year hence not being able hold a real home. My host homes take me in during my client booking gaps (which are minimal) for a small fee. I had everything in a storage unit for almost 11 years and this most recent host home allowed me to put my things in their basement and have an actual room to stay in which helped me start reselling part time. I’m a minimalist to begin with so having my things with me again gave me anxiety hence reselling. Also, I don’t own a vehicle so sourcing is harder for me. I am very fortunate that my clients allow me use of their vehicle when I’m at their home for a booking. Hope that answers some of your thoughts. Thanks for letting me share!
