Remember Sea Foam is your friend. Add it to the gas. Helps clean the internals of the carb. You will be surprised at the results. Love the channel!

Literally dirt cheap cool tools. That gave me an idea for an old mower i have laying around. I know a guy who really needs exactly that sort of contraption!!

I am not surprised by the running mower at all. You can't kill em. It's so silly that a person would buy more than one lawn mower in a lifetime.

Man. I have killed a few… but I use them like an idiot

On my acreage I've needed a brush hog to knock down a type of thistle that is slowly taking over the the edges of the yard and it seems to creep in farther each year. In the last 10 years it's taken over about 3 feet of grass around the yard and showing no signs of ever stopping. I have a 60 inch mower deck that will have a 24HP engine mounted to it and I can push it from the front of my garden tractor. Need a few more pieces made and I'll be able to start building. I will also take an old mower and cut the front out as you did to sneak under the barbed wire fencing. Keep the kool videos coming.

@@betweenthesharksgarage The stems of this brush are about the size of a straw and tuff and very close together and about 2 feet tall. I hope 24 HP will be enough....lol.

It kind of reminds me of the Facebook marketplace meme of the lawn mower with the sawmill blade.

I’d suggest cutting the discharge opening larger so it doesn’t clog but you will need to make a wider safety guard/cover.

I always pre order a chinesium carb off amazon or ebay. They are really cheap. Then I mess up the governor linkage and have to rigg that to run correctly. But fun video again. Let's see the inside of the house..

It certainly helped

Thats a plastic "pulsa jet" carburetor. Dont tighten the bolts that hold it down too much or it warps the plastic and causes it to leak fuel past the diaphragm and into the engine causing it to run stupid rich, also auto parts stores sometimes have those diaphragms in stock. Also that run away was the cooling fan wind based governor that uses a paddle under the housing that gets pushed by the wind the cooling fan makes, along with springs and leaver arms to open and shut the throttle based on the load on the engine to maintain the peak power running RPM.

Weld a couple of the old mower handles in a A frame and use the excavator to grab the A frame with the thumb and bucket and go have fun.

Love the video but if you work on any more of those push mowers please disconnect the sparkplug when spinning the blade with your hand. You never know if one will try and fire when spinning the blade by hand. Some older lawnmowers run off extremely old gas and you could potentially lose a hand.

Indeed. We are on the lookout for the new sharks. They need to be found in the right moment with a great story. The original sharks on the original garage Came from my favorite bar when it closed …. And how they got to the bar is an even better story. It involves a shopping cart on a stormy night…..

Put some old gravel or nuts and bolts in that tank and shake it.

not sure if you have a parts washer in either shop but oven cleaner from a dollar store works great on that sludgy stuff.

MTD is Murray Trading Development…. They actually own lots of things like Murray, mtd, cub cadet, Troy built, bolens, and several others…. Chances are if u own a lawnmower it’s probably manufactured by mtd

You should use that on the barking dog
