DIY Buford Bucket Loader Forks

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

I have made a set of Buford Bucket Loader forks for my X595 tractor. I have made 3 different versions of forks for my 332 and 2210 Loaders. This is my best design. Since I designed and built the original Buford Bucket Loader, I understand the what is required for the fork capacity. This is a prototype and I might adjust it a little.

Awfully short forks but look extremely sturdy. When I say short I just mean I use mine to move piles of brush where apparently you plan to use it for moving logs. If you have extra steel and the machinery/welder I suppose this could save a bit of money. For other folks like me, it's not a viable option. Like it or not, there are 30 inch forks ( the overall length is 43 inches ) but 30 inches past your bucket for less than $ 89 delivered to your door available. Longer forks also available. For this size tractor I doubt if there would ever be an issue lifting whatever the capacity of the hydraulic system is. You can also adjust them to any width inside the bucket and also they just clamp on with a screw mechanism so no tools are necessary to mount them and take them off. I also have a tooth bar on my JD 322 and they fit over it easily. The extra length goes underneath the bucket to stabilize the fork. They are shipped from the USA but possibly made in China I don't really know.. Just wanted folks to know there are low cost options out there if you don't have equipment to make them.

I have made longer forks on other loaders. The problem with longer forks is the bucket cannot curl as much to dump. For me, this length works for moving brush etc.

Yes, he is building them as quick as he can. Spring is a very busy time. I will let him know you are waiting on a reply.

Sorry Pete did not reply. He was building the loaders part time and was usually swamped with orders. He did hire two pt welders for a while. His wife died recently and he is having health problems. I do not anticipate he will be building any loaders for a while.
