Since your a formulator, just curious why use an emulsifier if your not using water. Wouldn’t stearic acid be better. It has a much higher melting point and it’s a stabilizer. It’s an emollient and a lubricant.

Lol so dope , I just made something like this not too long ago and chose butters off the top of my head and it’s the exact same butters as this video so that makes me feel good 😂😭. It turned out really well so those butters truly pair well together EDIT: and I’ve also used arrowroot but please understand it can also make your body butter leave a powdery feeling it’s luxurious yes but if you add to much it can make your body butter feel more powdery

Thank you for sharing your recipe. As you grow and share what you do teaching your audience how to make these body and room sprays grows your audience offer that they can buy ready made from you or make themselves and wholesale the containers and ingredientwhich can grow into a business of its own. You can make a recipe book and sell that to help others get started with their own business and buy all they need from you. I love to see how you make things your videos are great! But I would prefer to just buy it and would buy from you seeing how you are making this. Also your video on product photography was really good. You can approach restaurants in your area and offer to take their menu dishes pictures for them. Have a rate for digital and one for prints. I’m in the food industry and covid hit hard. Many smaller independent restaurants had to get creative - offer to take pictures for their website for their menu or to create a to go menu or menu in general. Go look at how they are marketing on their menu and website and tailor your presentation to that customers need with your photography. Specially for the internet which so many did not have a presence in. Who’s you the best snd many Blessings.
the recipe looks amazing but I was wondering how much my btms50 doesn’t melt easily. Takes forever and it is still a bit clumpy. Also when whipping it became hard and into small clumps. Is there such a thing as too whipped? Thanks!

Hi, what books with regards to making body butters and other skin products would you recommend?
So when measuring this out how do you measure in % like what’s the oz? I’d love for my body butter to not be oily; feel like it’s hydrating and not oily or dry.
Amazing 💕 what is BTMST 50
Thanks for sharing this. Can u tell me what preservative to be used?
Could you please add the proportions of each ingredient, please??
How safe is the preservative used? Would I be able to leave that out and still have good results?
Hi ! I never knew you could use an emulsifying wax in a body butter that doesn't contain water. Is your only reason for using it to help keep the butter from melting in hot summer months?

Hello and thank you for such an amazing tutorial. I’m new at the art of making body butter and am having a problem with the conversion from % to ounces which is what I prefer to work with. Help would be greatly appreciated. I tried moving the decimal 2 spaces to the left but this leaves me with a very little amount of product to develop into one container of body butter… I need help.

Take your total ounces and multiply by the %. For example, if your total batch size is 16 ounces, multiply 16 x .15 = 2.4 ounces of shea butter; 16 x .30 = 4.8 ounces of kokum butter; 16 x .05 = 0.8 ounces mango butter; etc.

2 жыл бұрын
Preservative is a must when you have any formulation with water, even distilled & boiled water. Lotions/creams develop bacteria at the drop of a hat so always spray/wipe all of your pots, bowls, utensils & storage containers with 91% rubbing alcohol & maintain a sterile environment as much as possible. Though preservative isn't required in oil based formulas with no water, it's a good idea. There are a few good "natural" preservatives, vitamin E oil & lavender EO do not count as such. Research videos on skincare preservatives, its very helpful!
Can we replace the Btms 50 by any another product with the same effect like B2?
What size container did you fill up ?
Can apply in hair also?
Do you have exact measurements without preservatives?
can you sub beeswax for the BTS-50?
Could you tell me how I figure out percentage (exact measurement) please?

You’ll need to get registered and have a stand alone facility and an inspection from the state. It costs over $1000 + yearly inspections. It’s easier to out source your recipe, have someone else make it for you in a different state, and you sell it (which is what I’ll be doing) until I get my own studio.
