Looks like a flat iron. A different video says to put the flat iron's heat at 120 degrees Celsius (or your lowest setting) for Kanekalon (I think it's modacrylic?) doll hair. See: kzread.info/dash/bejne/pJiZp5eDqabJk5c.html @6:23.
