it's actually been broken down mathematically and proven by pros that distance results in less strokes over accuracy.

I know what iam doing next Saturday, she said it's all mine I get to do what ever I want to do it's all up to me to make my own entertainment, so I'll just make me a putting green that I can be entertained any time.

Looks like a video I would make lol. I would prefer a 4x larger green under $300 - got to get the rototiller working and buy the right material. But same idea - Also I want a sand bunker for practice

I got a new putting green to practice indoors so I was wondering if I could use my old one outdoors. I was thrilled to see that my old one is the same exact one you used in this vid haha. Thanks for the info!

I think that would really help prevent weeds under the putting mat. I’ve also tried using a horse stall mat that I had on hand, but preferred the feel of the sand underneath.

That’s because this is a hack job. Others are done right 😊 go to your local artificial turf supplier and get a pro grade green cups flags. And your local gravel yard for base

Hello it looks like u poasted this a year or more ago i was wondering if you can tell how many bags (and weight) of gravel and how many bags of sand you used. Would love to set up something very similar. Appreciate this vid. Thanks.

The mat has held up really well, however AI should have gone over $100 and spend more on sand and gravel. The sand does take tapping down about every other month.

Can u just put a tarp down and then the putting green? Does it really need to be so smooth and even. Wouldn't natural bumps n curves if any make it a challenge?

After a year, still have to tamp down the sand every 6 weeks or so. Definitely not perfect, but made a huge improvement in my 8’ putts.

  • @christ9359

You probably want some natural slope, but not bumps. Also, you would want it to be relatively flat where the holes are cut.
