Quick Fixes Upgrade Nerf Running Bars How To DIY Painting Video www.1OwnerCarGuy.com This is just a quick video of an upgrade that I just had to do on this Yukon. It had black nerf bars that we in good condition but had spots of surface rust and just didn't look good. So I sanded them down and decided to paint them with a plastic Krylon paint. They turned out good as you can see and it's little things like these that can really make the difference and how your vehicle looks and they are cheap and easy. I can't believe you just spray painted without masking off your vehicle. you could just remove the "nerf bar" and not worry about over spraying your vehicle. please no one take this seriously

Wow, I thought I took a short cut when I held up a big piece of cardboard to block my truck when I used VHT Bar and Chassis paint. Looked good for about a year.

Nice quickie! Those nerf bars are usually rotted through and falling off after about 5 or 6 yrs from new around here in the N.E..

quick question for you I have a 2008 Navigator with running boards the motor is gone I was just wondering if the running board have to be in before the motor is remover
My SUV is off-white or beige I don't think I'm going to be hitting my black running boards without tape or cardboard 😅
