My daughter and son-in-law have there own business doing this. They have been in business for several years and they love it. She says it's always happy moments in people's lives and she gets to share in those moments. What surprised me was how many different parties people come up with to have and celebrate things. I loved this video. You are very talented. Thank you for sharing in your happy moment.

The tip about taking photos for future reference is so good! I started doing this for holiday decor and it helps me to remember how I did something, what I liked or need to change. I keep a list on my phone, as well, for things to get for next year, or to remind me of what I have and don't need to get. Taking a short video with commentary is good too.

The #1 thing I learned was that I want Whitney to plan my parties for me. That would take ALL the pressure off, lol. You’re so right about thinking to the future so long as you have space for storage. The party decor turned out fantastic and it’s smart to “shop your home” so you don’t go out and buy thing’s you already have. Yep! I worked in marketing and part of that was events. I did them for a golf course and also did tradeshows and customer events for a large food distributor in a previous life :)

This party was so beautiful and clever. Baby girl shower idea: make bonnet from a hankie with ribbon for tie. When she grows up untie ribbons for bridal hankie keepsake.

I just love making my decorations for baby shower or bridal shower or birthday or any other occasion. I have done alot of theme parties. Never had any experience with this, one inspiring place I would check out Pinterest and then go from there to get ideas

Such great ideas! I love party planning, your organization tips are going to be so helpful in future parties. I actually bought a balloon arch kit on amazon for my son’s Spider-Man party, it came with a plastic ribbon with holes in it and all I had to do was pull the end of various sized balloons through the holes to get the same effect (much easier than stringing), plus it is re-usable. Only down side was a couple of balloons pooped initially and scared me 😂, easy fix though.

Balloons and garlands from dollar tree are awesome for color-themed parties. At that age, experiences are usually a hit, so maybe focus your budget on that? Typically decor is lost on younger kids, I know I didn't care about decor at 16 😂

The lemon is from Canva and I added an offset in Design space. The pitcher is a Cricut image I removed the words from and clicked the lemonade piece out so it would cut in yellow 😊

If you're going to purchase a design from Etsy, you just want to check the description to make sure it will scale to the size of your frame :)
