Nice Cage the elephant in the background. And really helpful series. Gonna start my own cab building in a couple of weeks.

+Sam McMullan First time I saw them open for The Black Keys, I wasn't really into them .. but after a while they really grew on me ... Melophobia was just a great album ... the guitar work on it is sick.

16 ohm. You can wire series or parallel.

Yeah the more & more I research going beyond 1 single speaker it pointed me to the best way to go about it is to intermix speakers to create 1 versatile output vs 2 of the same speaker. Also looked at gsw for a long time & noticed there speakers as of late have gone up in price vs the last 2-3 years ago they where. Looks great so far, but im getting impacient to see & hear the end product bud !! lol :D

Not sure if mixing is the way to go or not, but I figured I'd have a go and see what happens. Ever since I used a Hot Rod Deluxe I really wanted a better speaker and cabinet.

I would suggest proper speakers. The WGS are reasonable. There are other brands with less expensive fare as well.

I've been using WGS speakers going on three years or more. I've got one even in my homemade 1x12 cab. For reference, I have a custom Avatar 2x12 speaker cab that just sits in the studio. The homemade cab with the WGS is what gets played every week, if that tells you anything. They're great speakers and I wouldn't use anything else.

Pull hard, I winged it and it turned out great. Heating it up a bit helped.

In Canada, I've always had luck search Trans Canada Hardware www.tchweb.com/ for professional speaker cabinet hardware, and road case type stuff.

2:20 - No it isn't! Check out Next Gen Guitars in Ottawa and spread the word! www.nextgenguitars.ca/ To be fair, we didn't exist when you posted this video, but I thought I'd share in case you (or people you know) are ever looking to build a cab again.

Jonathan Beals That's wicked dude. I'll definitely use it for my next project in the fall! Paying for stuff to cross the border can be a pain and expensive.
