Incredible! What is the voltage and torque with gearbox on those motors?

thx! the motor is 24v, but for torque I don't really know, because there's no spec for this. but its really capable to run perfectly and get warm after 2hour usage.

Did you complete this and possibly upgrade the motors? I am inthe procecess for building one and deciding on where to but the motor mounts. I like that you are farther away from the pivot point, i feel l;ike it would get more torque

yes, I complete this and add another motor for traction loss. nope, I don't think I'll change the motor, because its torque and speed is enough for me, no issues whatsoever for 2years. and yes, that's the point, you have to make sure the pivot point is far enough to get more torque and less burden to your motor. please subs and check my another video for the upgraded system. here my traction loss update. kzread.infokJZJubpfaHw?feature=share

any suggestion or link for download the software that use together with ur board? would be really grateful if you can share a measurement of aluminium part. btw really wonderful and good-looking work cheers.

Only the cheap one. Potensiometer mono 10k

What type of gearbox is that? Seems to be very little backlash or slop, very precise

It's wiper motor type, but for wire feeding machines. Its bigger, had More torque and speed. Btw, its not that precise when heavyweight is being loaded. So I had to cut down the CTC lever from 80mm to 40mm. (on the video is early build using 80mm ctc lever)

@@om_is_hobby ah yeah, I am using wheelchair motors and have the same problem. You can use bungee cords to keep some pressure down on the arms to helps some. I have seen ballscrew gearboxes that have nearly zero backlash, DOF Reality SFU gearbox, but they are pricey and probably hard to mount to a motor

@@deadlydonague2402 yes this type of gearbox is really suffering from backlash. The bungee cord, not helping much, I had it before. In near future I want to try using a smoothing damper just like dof reality. To keep it on budget, I'll use some steering damper for motorcycle.

@@om_is_hobby yeah the bungee only helps a little for slow movement, any quick movement and the bungee cord does nothing. Dampers would be good, but I think there will still be that “clunk” when you switch from one side to the other, but the movement should be more smooth
