Yay..yay..yay 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 you made the 4 bottle slots ! Thank you 🙏🏻 thank you 🙏🏻 🙏🏻🙏🏻 You are such a wonderful person , you take our requests! Santa is going to be dropping by your home on Dec 24 for sure 😉😉 Black Friday fabric sale is on until November 27 so I am going shopping . My dining room is a total mess with sewing Christmas gifts ….but it’s the happiest I have been during covid . It takes my mind off the craziness out there . Mental health , people have to find a purpose …learn a new skill , that’s what I did during covid . And I am getting better through practicing . Next year I am going to tackle your intermediate skill bags , those zippers, gusset , curves , etc . I have to be on vacation so I can focus and rip and redo…that’s how I learn, be gentle with yourself . It’s not a race. I am gaining my confidence about sewing slowly . You’re one of the better sewing teachers out there. I have been to the fabric store so often after they lifted some of the capacity restrictions. The ladies there now know me as a regular and now ask what are you making …. I show them pictures and they are impressed because when I started I was soooo nervous . 😅😅 . They have canceled sewing classes until further notice . I said I don’t need them , I am a student of KZreadrs like you ….hehehe.. Your community here appreciates you ! 💕💕

So beautiful

I made this tonight and the tutorial was super easy to follow, though for my fellow Americans: USE THE METRIC MEASUREMENTS. I used the converted imperial measurements, and it worked ok, but it didn’t line up *quite* right. I ended up with a little bit of puckering in spots when I was sewing the strips to the top of the bag. A minor detail, really. After I finished and filled the bag with wine bottles, I realized the woven fabric I chose from my stash wasn’t 100% cotton and it has way more give than I want it to. 🤦🏽‍♀️ But I’ll be making this again, and next time I’ll make sure I use a sturdier fabric!!

I love this so much! 😍I want to make the 4 bottle carrier and I have a question, where do you mark the 6” is it between the middle of the handles? And then you mark 10” down to make a box then you sew the two middle parts without the handles .Thank you for your help! Xx

The 6 inches is where the center of the handles is, mark there and then mark 10 inches down and connect the lines to make the box/sewing line.

Wouldn't it be easier to stitch the center portion before stitching the seams?

I made the two bottle bag, but when I put bottles in it, they bump together. I used cotton fabric. How can I make the bag have more structure/be sturdier while still using cotton? Is iron on fusing fabric the answer?

I haven't made it yet, but was wondering the same. Maybe lining the fabric, doubling the fabric, or using a thicker fabric.

It seems that fusible fleece should be attached to the inside of the outer material and the lining should be applied.🤗🙋‍♀️
