Hello Viron Greene, That wouldn't be a bad idea either,I still can loose it by laying it somewhere Or loose it(pretty stuck on the sheath so far) rather then your option. Imho I think this is more versatile. I used wet and dry sandpaper for this project, and glued it with contact glue (water resistant) atb Steve

Although I admit I have the ubiquitous diamond/ceramic sharpeners, I feel when it is eventually worn, lost or broken, I won't be looking to replace it in a hurry. @@scruff_ukIt happens because i made a sharpener like your ceramic sharpener and came with this, (with a bunch of these stir sticks lying around) because it was very versatile and inexpensive, I've been doing all my kitchen knives with this sharpener for a while now, and since it performs well, I've incorporated it into the mora knife, as an alternative to my sharpening stone. and if I lose this it wouldn't be expensive at all

@@sosteve9113 Sorry to hear the situation is getting worse there. Here in Newfoundland, Canada, our Province is really doing very well. It helps that we are an isolated island. We are nearing 90% of residents here fully vaccinated. Our Covid numbers are really low compared to many other places. Newfoundland has had 2031 cases of Covid, right now only 19 active cases and a total of 17 deaths. Health Canada just approved vaccinations for children aged 5 - 12.
