Nice video. But I wonder: Does the Mermaid liveaboard get a different treatment than other dive operators? Why are guests allowed to wear gloves?

I don't recall the glove policy on the Mermaid. But I do know that a no-touch policy was stressed many times. Some have said they use them to help grip the ladders and ropes getting while getting in the dinghy.

mantugaul We went with Mermaid II. you can check them out on www.mermaid-liveaboards.com/ I have gone with them several times and they are great. Alex Lindbloom is the awesome videographer.
