Diving Into Sunken Treasures: Epic Metal Detecting In Underwater Rivers!
Ойын-сауық
Today we metal detect underwater in a nice clear, cool river. We explore an old fording area and search for relics, coins, and bottles. The river water is very clear and warm, but a stiff breeze keeps things chilly above water.
About Aquachigger:
I enjoy metal detecting for historical items like gold coins, relics, silver coins, and other buried treasures. I also metal detect for gold and silver nuggets and even meteorites. I like to make videos that promote my choice of lifestyle that includes outdoor adventure,
metal detecting, yapping, searching for river treasure, SCUBA diving, exploring abandoned places, hiking, caving, caring for animals and pets, and observing the things outdoors that often go unnoticed by most people who are not familiar with outdoor adventures and nature. I keep my KZread "Aquachigger" channel family-friendly and hope you subscribe if you like my style.
BTW, you can also catch me here, / chiggsarmy ,but I may get a little edgier there. FB isn't a place for kids anyway...lol.

Ignore if you've answered elsewhere in the comments, but I was curious about the step-like structures that appeared around 8:00-8:30. You find a couple of bullets there.

Every time you find a rod and real in the water, it brings me back to the early 1960's when I was around six. My uncle took me to a river to go fishing. We started out befor dawn. When we got set up it was daylight. When I got my line in the water, it wasn't long befor a big fish grabbed the worm and pulled the rod from me and into the river. My uncle said, as he jumped up to stay there and he ran off and disappeared into the trees. A moment later I heard a splash and a few moments from then, he came back with the lost rod and real. Later I caught the first fish ever, a large carp and after getting home, it was still flopping around while I poised for a photo. Wonder if if the photo is still around.

The river was beautiful today. Thank you so much for taking me along.
14:32 yes Beau. Haha when you pulled that out underwater I wondered why there was a throwing horseshoe in the river. Great video. Thanks for posting
Thanks for taking us along on another great adventure 👍
The water is so clear! Beautiful!
The river was very beautiful, love watching your finds...lots of fun 👋😁🪶♥️
Not a bad trip Chigg yeah that’s a throwing horse shoe.
I want to watch your River videos again in the dead of winter. I love to remember the long summer days of treasure hunting. Have a wonderful trip!
Great video as usual 👌 👍
Chigg you have inspired me never hunted water just woods and beaches I'm going to get me a kayak
That's an antique rod/reel...definitely worth keeping
Chiggs, a beautiful day and crystal clear water. Very nice finds, love the underwater footage as always. 👍😀👏
Another adventure that I've enjoyed watching more than once!
Great time on the river Beau
The visibility and clarity of the water is so much better than the swamp gas river.

The water was so beautifully clear. I’m interested to know if you’ll be making another season of River Hunters in the UK.

Not this summer, maybe next.
Don't need to hold my breath, I wear a snorkel as I watch!
It looks like something great to do
Man, I wish I was out there with you too. That water looks beautiful. I would be good and not interfere with your hunt. 😅
Well Done Trooper !
Congrats for not getting skunked, Chigger. Time for new gloves. I use the chainmail fileting gloves for moving gravel, just a suggestion. They usually last all summer. My recent finds worth noting about was three IJG Buttons on my recent trip to the Savanna River bank in Georgia. I stopped years ago detecting artillery shells, but there were lots of heavy iron signals. I am back now detecting around the Union forts in Washington State. The problem with detecting on WA state or DNR lands is we can't keep the finds.
fantastica location , video davvero interessante
Great adventure. Love your videos!!
Love the videos:) I was out 2 days ago in a lake with the metal detector and found a silver ring and a 1947 silver dime. Had lots of good signals but the ground was rocky and couldnt use a scoop. I think you just showed how to do it:) Thanks for all you do!
Thanks Chigg.
Kickass!!!!!!!!!!!!
You are fortunate. Here in Arizona, no Civil War stuff. Slim pickins for detecting. Guys resort to city parks and under bleachers stuff.
Beau there were some spots that had that Gold bar look to it any story's of lost bars about!
Got To Dig It🍺👍✌.
That horseshoe was huge!!
The little piece of JUNK looks a lot like spray bars we use in CAR WASHES. It looks like a plastic check valve that we insert a metal water V-Jet to direct water spray. Hope this helps it looks very similar GREAT VIDEOS by the way!
Oh yeah awesome find
Nice hunt!
Great relics coming out of the river today!
Chiggs 👍🍺 you need a little pry bar bring with you 👌
Good afternoon from Southeast South Dakota
114th like, good evening chigg, over here its in the low 70s. Stay hydrated, chigg
There is always a youngstet looking for his own equipment!
I just can't believe how many bullets get found!! So much lead!
Yep. Not many of us around that have to find a 1880’s coin for it to be older than us
That big chunk of metal has the shape of an old scissor jack squeezed up
Man. This guy must have a ton of civil war bullets in his collection😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
Get a Long reach Grabber or make one Chig. great for any river adventure.
That mercury reel certain ones were worth money might check that model
I dont mind the more modern bullets and shotgun shells you find as they are not as common over here in the UK unless they are found on old WW1 and WW2 trainig areas.
couldn't tell if the coin was 1880 or 1830 but either way it's a fair bit older than any of us 😆 good find
I love the river. Your videos are awesome. It breaks my heart to see all the modern trash people throw in there. 😢
Beau, wondering when youre gonna head back up to see Billy in maine? Time to get back downeast!
are you holding out on us Beau? What is in the cave in the background ( at 4:39 )at the ford? LOL
Moar beaver content......🤠🇺🇸
👊🤩👍
How did you know i wanted to go on a hunt?
When you are diving like in this video, wear shoes that have felt soles! You wont slip on the rocks..... old fisherman's trick!

The block of cast iron looks like a wood plane
That decorative brass piece looks like it could be a boyscout neck tie slide I dont remember what its called.
Do you still explore caves ? I haven’t seen any videos about caves in long time.

Bumper jack for treasure 2
My dad got peeved trying to catch Creek Bass, he got so frustrated that he tossed his expensive Shimano Rod and reel into the creek. I caught 11 bass using my 10 foot Browning Flyrod rigged like a Crapie rod and 1/16th ounce jigs. He was disgusted that he couldn't catch anything on his expensive gear. 😂 I offered to retrieve his gear, but he forbade me. 😅
Sorry I wasn't here earlier bro. Bad day in prison. I'm here now.😊
Love your videos! Hey what was that stone entrance in the background at 4:38?

“100% Native America” and the blessed Queen Elizabeth II rolled over.
That rod and reel is probably from the civil war. Did you look at the end of the line for a civil war bullet smashed into a fishing weight?
What detector would you recommend for general use as well as beach detecting. I have a White but since they stopped making them I need a new detector.
Hey Chigg
After the Ford are you going to check out a Chevy?
Fess up Chigg your ageing. Thats why that current defeated you and left you an exhausted wreck.

"Fess up"? Heck, I'm one of the lucky ones and ain't dead yet. Plus, I've always subscribed to the notion that if you ain't an exhausted wreck by the end of the day you ain't living. I don't reckon wiping Cheeto dust from your belly is much exercise, but who am I to judge.
