Awwlexis I know you're a woman of Christ, thus can only give advice from that perspective... In reference to your point about ensuring your man is connected to God... I've been dating an atheist for awhile now...and to be honest, he's the most emotionally intellegent and self-aware partner I've ever had... And this is in part due to the fact that he's not grounded by an inflexible/unchangeable regilious doctrine (not to disrespect any religion) but rather by his appreciation of the gift of life. As such, he's very open to learning, growth and change... Holds a very high moral standard and is very respectful of other human beings and their own experience of life. I just wanted to share that, since it seems to not be a very popular opinion or experience. Love your videos, btw! I've learnt so much.

When I was in a deep and dark place in my life, I asked god to send me someone who could see my value and protect me. a week after that, I met my man who is in his healthy muscular energy. He help me to become my best self. And in the meantime, I met you. It so surprised me the fact how beautiful healthy feminine energy and healthy muscular energy are. They complete each other. ❤

He made me realize how low value of a man my ex was. Honestly a part of me is still wondering if it's possible for a low value man to grow with a high value woman but I'm trying to not cling onto the hope that people will change. Thank you so much for this video!! This was super eye-opening seeing what a high value man is

Love this! Great video you two! The comment about a man joking about certain things definitely made me think, my man has not 'joked', however he did point out a few insecurities and made me feel low value by commenting that 'oh well, but is she a good cook' ? When i made food and it was not up to his standards apparently. As well as other criticising comments, and me brining them up several times made him defensive and annoyed, telling me why do i bring up things of the past. Relationships can be complicated (when not healed properly i think) and I should think about healing myself first as i figured out i apparently am anxiously attached as well. I'll look into healing, so thank you for your videos! Definitely would be nice to see more relationship videos and advice on what to accept in a relationship as a woman, deal breakers, or what not, as i am having a hard time with this and usually tend to just want to forgive a man because i realize everyone is imperfect and has their own wounds and want to be there for them to help them. But I tend to forget myself. May the heavenly Father bless all you do, your radiance is contagious :) Thank you!

Hi awwlexis so I've been subscribe to your channel for about a month I think I'm not sure but you really give me inspiration about life with your channel and I'll definitely sign up for you course once I can...I'm a stay at home mom and I do have dreams and goals for myself being a stay at home mom is only temporary for me and listening to you is giving me the confidence to pursue my dreams...but my relationship is kind of holding me back and I'm not someone that speak I'll about my partner but my family just don't understand so I'm a Muslim women I got married at 18 and I've never really been safe and comfortable in my body around him because after marriage he wanted me to change the way I dress and the things I did and I love fashion, make up and things to do with hair styling and I realise I'm afraid of abandonment so I put aside all the things I like and the friends I had but now I feel like I don't recognise myself I'm not the same I'm what he wants me to be even though his not a toxic person but the biggest thing is that I'm far from my feminine energy like my husband doesn't have any discipline I end up doing everything for him and myself and our kids...he never finish anything so I need advice because I'm try to do inner work on myself and I spoke to him many times he says he will help me but just does it for afew days and his back doing what he wants..... please give me any advice that you can and I love what you doing and your journey it's beautiful and you beautiful awwlexis ❤

Personally I think joking and banter are 43:11 actually vital for a relationship. Being able to laugh together is so important to me. The core of truth you talk about is also playing into this. If they can playfully joke about a quirk or habit I have in a funny way, that doesn't hurt my feelings. I usually find it humourous and fun to laugh about myself. Of course that requires a certain level of confidence and knowing the other person loves you despite or maybe even because of those quirks. And the other person must be able to take a joke as well and laugh about themselves too, not just dish out. Of course, there is a huge difference between mockery/picking on someone and joking. And the limit depends on each person and the relationship I have with them. My best friends for example get to joke about things which would put me off if said from a stranger. So in general I think joking and banter is not only fine, but necessary. But only if everyone involved is okay with it and given that they speak up, if feelings have indeed been hurt. Edit: This does not include body image and insecurities. Those are always off limits. ^-^

I have run into really nice guys who are older (my age, 40s 50s) who have been hurt by women and can't let go and get beyond that. They find a great woman and push her away because he is stuck in not being able to let go of the one who hurt him. Some have not tried to grow from it and others seem to be running from growth and dive into a bottle of alcohol and become functional alcoholics. They may even be achievers. It's sad, especially when I like the sensitive men but not the sensitive men who are broken not trying to fix themselves. I want a masculine man who is always learning and working on bettering himself and also has a sensitive side.

Love both of y'all perspective! I think it is great that you are talking about this important topic. I do have a thought that I would like to suggest. I think guys have a real issue with this feminine energy, we have been raised to be the man, the protector, and the deffender. I think that some of these things like showing emotion and really the middle of the connection isn't really either energy. I conceder it just part of the human experience. This is how I feel, think about it for a little while and maybe you can do a response either chat or show. Thank you for your consideration.

Hi Alexis. I am in a healthy relationship now and we are the happiest we have ever been. When we first got together though he did some horrible things that are just unforgivable. I keep telling myself that he has changed because he truly has and he is a better man but I can’t help but feel resentment due to the pain he caused me. A year ago I was not the women I am today I was very insecure and did not have any back bone to leave him. But every time I remember something he did I wish I did leave because he did not deserve me. I am just not sure what to do anymore. He does everything to care for me and spoil me every day and I keep remembering this horrible side of him.

Hi Alexis, I am interested to know what your opinion of the working class man is as a provider man. You talk a lot about business men and entrepreneurs running their own businesses etc where i come from men are predominantly in jobs where getting your hands dirty type of work is required such as farmers, arborists, fishermen , hunter gatherer types. My question being if a man is not a business man what is your opinion of their masculine energy if they may not be providing as much financially but more in terms of food on the table from nature, wood for the fire, water from the river etc.

Sex, morality, justice, fairness, promises made- these are topics/subjects that involve deep philosophy and requires a strict moral code. A moral code that might come from religion or for some from his inner self.
