Very good video!!! I have been watching some of vids lately and find them very enjoyable!!! I have never casted any thing in my life, but Im interested to add it to my shop. Im trying to learn as much as possible. When you make your patterns, do you allow for the width of the band saw cut?

Hi John. PVA glue is not the best solution to pattern making. A few years ago I discovered Aliphatic Resin glue. PVA glue never sets solid, ever, whilst AR glue makes a far stronger bond, has a really short 'grab' time of a couple of minutes and sets solid in a couple of hours, so you don't need to wait until tomorrow to work on the pattern, or risk joint failure. The brand that I buy is Titebond (the 'original and best', as they say) but other brands are available (see eBay, for instance). It's now Boxing Day, 26th December 2016 and after a number of years, I am still a follower of your projects and your SNNCs and long may they continue. All my best wishes to you, Debs and your dad.
