Thanks for the explainer. I'm not prepping for CA, I was just watching this out of curiosity. I understood the how the things will get changed in the liability side of the B/S, but how will the assets side change on or after 30/9? Will all the 65 lakhs get invested or only 60 lakhs only be invested and 5 lakhs be held as cash till 31/3? Forgive me if the question is stupid.

This video has solved so much of issues.👌👌 Please tell me why in such cases mutual fund co. Ask for entry load over n above the NAV & Dividend Equalisation. Most often funds ask for the NAV of the previous day then why they want entry load also... Please throw some light. Thank you

In this case the assumption is that the MF is collecting div equalisation separately.

You can take either assumption. The NAV at which units were sold includes the equalisation part or equalisation amount is collected separately.
