Actually Jeannie, my grandparents had that cactus when I was a kid, it has about 20-30 extended "ridges" off of which 5-10 clumps of spikes grow, each of those spike clumps can grow a flower and it takes 3-4 days to bloom after it starts growing, then it quickly wilts away. It's a beautiful flower, but short-lived and I don't think I've seen more than a single bud, let alone more than a single blooming flower at the same time apart from 3-5 times over 10+ years of summers with them. So, yeah, it CAN bloom with many flowers, but it's usually only one. After some research, it's called a "Domino Cactus". I'mma get me one for nostalgia!!

The bars usually had this thing were, they'd let you in if you were under 21, but if you didn't have a wristband given to you by the bouncer, you couldn't order drinks and if you were caught drinking you'd be thrown out. This one time, I didn't feel like pulling out my ID so instead I strait up just told the bouncer I was under 21. He still gave me a over 21 wristband. I did so many jello shots that night.

Jellyfish are what's making the greenish glow of the water. Most jellyfish have some form of bio luminescence to them in order to attract the micro organisms they feed on in the oceans. Also, the bluelight bathrooms which make finding veins much much harder are a real thing. A lot of gas stations and fast food places tend to have them since there's a large opiate epidemic still going on and growing with heroin, fentanyl, oxycodone etc. I'll be honest though, even though for some people the blue lights make it harder to find a vein for IV usage of drugs, a longer term drug abuser doesn't need to really find a vein per say when they have more than likely used the same injection sight multiple times. I myself as a recovering heroin abuser was able to find my veins merely by feel more so than with my eyes after enough time. The only thing which I could see beeing an issue for addicts is when they go to pull back on a syringe to make sure they're in said vein, the bluelight would make the blood in the water harder to see to know you're in a vein or not.

@@mattc3581 you do realize Boeing has a crash every ≈16 000 000 flight hours and Airbus sits at 1 every ≈ 14 000 000. As you can tell both incredibly safe. I contrast to this worldwide statistic essentially covering all flying as Boeing and Airbus hold most of the market share Boeing is the second safest manufacturer with Embraer being #1 on safety. But I'd take a Boeing over a Embraer any day. Airbus and Boeing were basically identical in the study though. Only ATR and sukhoi were far from the rest with atr being 60x more likely of a fatal crash and sukhoi 90x more likely than Embraer. Boeing and Airbus were both 2x as likely.

3:10 This is, unfortunately, a necessary evil for the retail stores in downtown Seattle. But when non-addict homeless people camped in those bathrooms, the addicts resorted to shooting up in the dressing rooms. And you can't install blue lights in there, because the "legitimate" customers wouldn't be able to use them either. And it would make it easier for shoplifters to hide merch they intend to steal.

@@CompassIIDX Uhh no; thanks capitalism! We've been brainwashed into gauging the overall health of our economy primarily upon the QUANTITY of jobs available instead of the QUALITY of jobs with regard to making ends meet! In other words, instead of "working to live" most of us are "living to work," which keeps businesses running but doesn't keep families economically stable. Instead of paying people a wage that keeps up with inflation, corporate America would rather keep wages low enough to make workers perpetually dependent upon their jobs to keep afloat. And when those workers inevitably get deep enough in debt to lose their homes, instead of funding programs to help them get back on their feet, our lawmakers decide to CRIMINALIZE homelessness. BOTH PARTIES are guilty of these shenanigans!

Some cacti you buy at the stores are hybrids of two cacti. I think its called grafting. But basically you can take one cacti and do some prep work then stick another cacti on the prepped area and they will grow together. All those little cacti you fine at the store that have a small green barrel shape cacti then on top a ball like brightly colored cacti, those are grafted together.

6:16 It's called Heterochromia iridum. A rare, often beautiful, mutation that naturally occurs in nature across not just people but even animals and some fish. They say people who have this condition are exceptionally bright, have high IQ's and tend to be more creative.😁

Well, eyecolor mutations and intelligence and creativity has no genes in common, so it doesn't matter what people say, they're the french word for slow anyways. And yes it can be Beautiful. Heterochromia of the eyes, is often a sign of diseases, but nevermind that... It comes in Sectoral and central versions for the partial heterochromia. Central meaning it's around the the center of the iris, like I have. And Sectoral is like that dude in the video, when only parts of the iris is different. But true heterochromia, is by far the coolest. When you have Brown and Blue, or well pick the color combination, I'd say that Green Blue is the prettiest, Gray+any other is ugly, I mean Gray is the worst eye color to have, okay green blue central heterochromia is literally the worst, but still, nevermind my bias over my own eyes. Kind of wish I had uniform colored blue eyes or green eyes, I mean some of the prettiest eyes I have seen are blue and green, oh and one of my classmates had the prettiest eyes of all, amber eyes. Eyes, a subject I could speak hours on, but it's bedtime now.
