This comment is for Caleb, I'm sure the parents are monitoring, so please save this one and bring it back when needed. You are an amazing drummer. You have the passion that any kid has for a hobby they like, and you're running with it. Don't fall into the trap I did. Yes, my handle here is Astronomy based. When I was your age, I loved space. But in my teens, I took a break from it. I got sucked into the distractions that kept me from Astro for years. Please don't do that. Sure, hang out with your friends, but make sure you set aside a little time to pound the drum heads in your teen years. Keep at it brother, and one day I will gladly be in a crowd watching you with the band you end up in.

Every video I watch, and I've watched MANY over the last 2 years or so, I'm just in awe of the talent and the passion this kid has for not just playing the drums but mastering them. Little one, you have a gift. A suggestion... a side project that will be your greatest building block in drumming,.... build a 4 piece kit.. snare, tom, floor tom, bass...with 1 hi hat, 2 crashes and one good ride. Work that in a simple pattern and build... slowly, so you can hear the drum sound and echo... that is how the greats build the drum pocket. And you are just a child, I hope you also have fun roller skating, flying kites.. building sand castles... and practicing drumming that is articulate and seasoned. Blessing to you Caleb... Always....
