In this video, we are forming a car bumper prototype by the vacuum forming process. Vacuum forming can be used to create custom car bumpers by using a mold with the desired shape and design of the bumper. Once the car bumper forms from the vacuum forming machine and have cooled and hardened, it can be released from the mold and turned to CNC cutting to trim the extra materials. The resulting bumper will have the exact shape and design desired, making it a unique and custom piece. It is important to note that creating a custom mold in vacuum forming instead of injection molding can be much cheaper and time-saving, so it is always the most practical option for small-scale production.
