Distant Galaxies | Hubble Images 4K | Episode 4
In this episode we mainly have a look at various types of galaxies, some of which are very, very far away.
22. NGC 4449
23. HD 97950
24. M74/Messier 74
25. Arp 148
26. Abell 2218
27. Abell 1703
On the ESA/NASA website for the Hubble Space Telescope www.spacetelescope.org/ there is a section dedicated to the top 100 pictures ever taken by Hubble. I will go through these pictures one by one and explain what is going on.

It's hard to believe that all of this exists alongside everything that happens on earth. It almost feels like we are scared of how enormous and beautiful the universe can be, so we just live our lives like we aren't part of it. When looking at these pictures you are quite literally looking at creation itself and its absolutely mesmerizing.

12 million light years away and it's 'local'. I'm never going to get my head around this. Brilliant videos by the way. Keep them coming.
What's so mind boggling about the fact that all those thousands of galaxies resemble pins in a pin cushion and look close enough to be almost touching each other, is that in reality each is likely to be millions of light years from its neighbours!
The concept of such distances is mind blowing!
This video was great. I must say though, you really hit your stride with the videos about our own solar system. I don't know why some things work better for some people, but your videos from a day on Mercury, to the fly by of Pluto, to the moons of gas giants are where you seem to be at your best.
These are so well done. Great writing and narration. Fascinating.
It's so hard to imagine the distances in the universe and how much start stuff is in it. Seeing this makes you crazy wanting to explore all these galaxies yet even with hundreds of thousands of generations of humans we couldn't even come close to reaching even the closest neighbors. Excellent video!

I’ve had that same idea for a very long time. If I’ve got eternity to live, what better way to spend it than traveling the universe? So much to see, and do. Perhaps the UFO’s we see in the sky are other such beings traveling the universe? Just sight seeing.
It is rare that I like every video that a channel puts out. Astrum has joined that small group. Great channel.
I just discovered your channel the other night and I'm really glad I did! It's refreshing to hear intelligent narrative to describe the wondrous images the technology of our age produces. Looking forward to many more videos!
I subscribed. I love NASA and Hubble and other sites, but you do provide good commentary with details. 😉
Alex, An excellent Episode 4 mate. Looking forward to Episode 5 :)
Absolutely amazing. You just have to wonder what amazing places these must be and the planets they hold.
Great Videos!Just found your videos today and I'm hooked. Your videos are easy to follow and very informative. Keep up the great work!
Wow considering that I'm an amateur astronomer I have seen most everything you show on here through my very own telescope, but I still enjoy your video very much, the objects are so beautiful that you never tire of looking at them, God's beautiful handiwork is absolutely amazing!!

wow... these videos are incredible... who knew that such beautiful images of the universe existed... these are incredible... love your documentary on these videos... very well done.
I never did understand how the rotation of spiral galaxies worked before seeing the proper simulation. I knew the classic "spinning top" misconception doesn't work (because if it did, every star would have to have the same orbital period, no matter how near or far it is to the core), but I never really could wrap my mind around just *how* the spiral structure is maintained. Thanks for putting that bit in.
I am amazed to see these clear pictures of galaxies.

When watching alot of these videos, and knowing how far a lightyear is and so on, it really is mind boggling how big the univere is, there are more galaxies in the universe than grain of sand on earth. our galaxy is just one small little thing, but yet has such insane distances

@@spongehead1354 they said the Earth was the center of the Universe and that the Sun revolved around it. They said heaven was up in the sky, and hell deep down below. Tis neither that heaven is found up high above (since up is a relative term, and so is 'sky'), and there definitely is no Hell deep below, its all planet Earth down there. How many times do you get to call a race finish? Sorry, but the revealed word was wrong first time, and the second. The 'holy' men ..even more wrong.

GREAT VIDEO!! WELL DONE.
By yourself a dobsonian telescope. Don't go smaller than 8". It's stunning what you can see. It's so much fun to "hunt" for Messier objects. Sometimes looking right at it and can't see it because it's so dim. You glance slightly to the right or left, then voila! You can barely make out a breath of difference in the sky. You found your object!

Hi at 7.27 there a couple of stars that look like red laser dots can you explain what phase they are going through, thanks
hey astrum, just had a question, 2:00 what are those green dots on the picture, is it some blue stars but the lightwaves are stretched so much that its green or is it a normal blue-yellow light merging
it's not letting me change quality on mobile. odd. really really love your videos!

TRILLIONS of galleries out there exponentially farther apart than the already incredibly far distances between our stars in single galaxy.
Lol I just got the coolest magnets ad xD
5:40 After looking at the animation, the images after looked as if they were moving, due (if not, at least something similar) to an optical illusion... 'Twas kinda freaky; confirmed it was an illusion as well, by pausing the vid; also, the illusion only happened in my fovea, so the rotation was often off-center.

All these other galaxies out there, its crazy to think theres other worlds out there. Maybe we have lived past lives before in those other galaxies in the past. Maybe thats why we swear we've seen or heard or remembered something but we cant put our finger on it. Its because we experienced it in the past on one of those other worlds in one of those galaxies billions of light years away. Idk, i think things like that are possible. Its just insane seeing all these other galaxies and wondering what planets are in them, blows my mind.
Still trying to figure out how we're here now , but the light is just getting to us now , from so far away . Did we move faster than light to arrive where we are since the big bang ? If so , are we not trapped in slowed down time ?
