I am not mathematically adept but someone I know who is learned in mathematics, Sanskrit and astronomy mentioned that Surya Siddhanta is a great work to understand ancient Indian knowledge pertaining to astronomy. You mentioned the same in the video. The gentleman also mentioned the name Bhaskara as a great Indian mathematician of ancient times - maybe if possible you can cover his contributions to the field of mathematics in the future?

Because even in modern day we use thousand interchangeable with innumerous( for ex: "U don't have to call me a thousand times!") That is sanskrit word. Its not easy to cofirm a single meaning to single word or letter in sanskrit. Its like you may know 10 meanings to a single word in sanskrit but you can't strikeout the possibility of having one more meaning to the same word. 🙏🙏🙏

@@sudarsahn666 like in the video project shivoham said, we have actual text written Aryabhatta talking about clear distance to sun and moon in very straightforward and scientific way right, but these people try to read astronomy message from an obviously a bakthi text when there where none, this will create a negative phychological effect within people and also it make things easier for our opponents, actually many of these kind of misinformation are spread deliberately by them to mislead hindu community

Yug x sahastrar x yojana Here the meaning of yug we have to take in divine years. Its the addition of all yugas, i.e. (satya 4800+treta 3600+dwapara 2400+kali 1200 = 12000). Sahastrar = 1000 (and not uncountable as shown in the video). Sahastrar chakra translates directly to thousand petalled. Yojana = 8 miles. Yug x sahastrar x yojana = 12000 x 1000 x 8 = 96,000,000 miles. (I know folks won't verify this on google so i will have to spoon feed them - ) latest scientific data saying distance between sun and earth 149,597,870,700 metres (and using calculator converting it to miles gives the answer) = 92,955,870.3 miles We don't know which one is true so lets say true value is 92955870 and expected value is 96000000. Error calculation = (true - expected/true) x 100 = 3.27% error. I would accept this considering the era in which hanuman chalisa was written. And no one can express their feeling in a poem as word to word without using metaphor.... Hanuman chalisa was composed in kaliyug... And therefore it is quite understood that the yug or jug word here is refering to kaliyug. One more basic reason for taking this yug as kaliyug is that.. Kaliyug is consisting of 432000 years Dwapar as 864000(2 times kaliyuga) Treta1296000(3 times kaliyug) Satyug1728000 years ______times kaliyuga (That blank is homework for u). . It is not supposed to be written there..... Second thing.... In making a poem we have to take thing Lightly... By using the reader's sense of humour... Expecting that he or she will get that thing...and there is no need of explanation that why the word is used here...beside the fact that its having Unit of time .... Its understood that writing it like yug sahastra yojan par bhanu is more easier and correct way of writing a poem than writing "the numbers of years in kaliyug times sahastra yojan par bhanu"... This is absolute nonsense......its not always right to critic ise..... And third thing... Its is giving the fucking numerical value exactly same.... And Finally its not the only thing that is having numerical values in shloka.. Rigveda (I, 50-4) Yojananam Sahasta Dwe Dwe Shate Dwe Cha Yojane Aken Nimishardhena Krammana Namostute. In this verse, the author pays respects to the one (the reference is to the sun light) who moves 2202 yojans in half nimish. Yojan is a quite common unit in India, it means 4 kose, each kose measuring 8000 British yards and each yard measuring 0.9144 m. The definition of the time unit nimish can be found in Shrimadbhagwat 11-3 to 10) where it is mentioned that 15 nimishas make 1 kashta, 15 kashtas make one laghu, 30 laghus make 1 muhurta and 30 muhurtas make 1 diva-ratri. A diva-ratri is, of course, a day-night which is 24 hours in modern language. When you convert 2202 yojans per half nimish into SI units, it turns out to be 3.0 x 10 8 m/s up to two significant digits, a value quite accurate as we know it today..

My approach to understanding such phrases are rather simple. In any case he is trying to explain that the sun is very far away and Hanuman went towards it thinking it was a fruit. He is trying to tell us how innocent Hanuman was as a child and his will power immense. And if someone thinks it is a calculation of distance, well he is free to think, as such coincidence only makes Hanuman chalisa special for us Indians.

Hi, first of all kudos to you! You are doing an incredible work! I watch your videos sometimes several times and enjoy them and learn a lot from them. Your study and research is profound! So thank you! Now here is the food for thought from a relatively less learned person, me: My conclusion to you is that maybe this shloka tried to encode the distance (as well) but here is why I am saying that. When I learned Sanskrit from 8th standard to 12th our very erudite professor introduced us to several shlokas which had double meanings. He specifically wanted to show us how beautiful Sanskrit language is that it can express multiple meanings with same arrangement of words in the most concise form. Maybe this is one of such shlokas? Also something that you mentioned that yuga is the time unit and not a distance unit but could it be a case similar to the unit "lightyear". How light year is a distance unit but on the face of it, it appears to be a time (Year) unit? And the third reason I am thinking is, then why this calculation is remarkably in line with reality? Isn't there any credit/ value in it? Is it a sheer coincidence? Obviously you are a very learned person and You have a very deep research in this topic so not challenging you but humbly providing my inputs to consider if there is any value in it. this was a gr8 and informational video as usual ❤ would love to see a video on explaining the concept of time according to ancient indian knowledge...like kalpas and all...and how it varied from realm to realm...and how time dilation was a thing mentioned in the texts as some say...when a king who wanted to find a suitable groom for his daughter went to brahma lok but due to time dilation many years had passed on bhooloka...etc. 🙏 and perhaps a video on multiverse theory as well? 🤔

This was the first I learnt of this claim. I was told by my teacher that Sri Tulsidas didn't write the Hanuman Chalisa in Sanskrit, but in a related language called Awadhi. I assume that this doesn't change any of your research, due to the languages having a relationship with each other. Thank you for your exposition

Avadhi is a language still used in villages of Uttar Pradesh, near Lucknow( where I was born as was Cliff Richard)😚😚😚☺😎😎🤣🤣.

Parmanu term was Used by Maharshi Kannad for describing molecule and Anu for Atom and also trisenu was described, even Gita it is used to indicate atomic form, but not the time.
