I've always hated the premise of the island thought experiment to begin with. If the rest of humanity is extinct, why put all that pressure on those two to maintain the species? Childbirth is dangerous without modern medicine, or even additional help, not to mention the whole issue with consent. At least if it were two women or two men, then they'd have some company without undue pressure while they watch the flame of humanity snuff out.

I'm sorry but reading the first tweet before watching the video pisses me of because a single man and s single roundabout would die or regardless because there is no way for the population to continue safely. If it continues it will be inbred to a deadly degree

That tweet is the same hypothetical that was brought up during debates about the legalisation of gay marriage and it was an irrelevant argument back then as well. But in the context of transphobia there's another layer of awfulness. Transphobes have a tendency to ignore or be outright cruel to cis women who can't have biological kids because of how much they emphasise the importance of fertility or a regular menstrual cycle. Yes, most women can give birth or have a regular menstrual cycle but that's not a requirement to be a woman.
