pretty big discount right now. thinking of picking up 8 large. My favorite thing about them is even if the adhesive strip is not aligned perfectly it doesnt matter your just aligning the plate itself.

Do you think they will mount to a vaulted ceiling without falling? At like 30 degrees facing down?

I would not recommend. Some fall from walls (even though the magnet is pretty strong). And if it falls, 90%+ chance it's gonna have a dent.

If you choose to do this, use multiple (like at least 3) magnets. As the other reply said, they aren't foolproof and could fall.

@@GarrettMusic1 I have ordered 3 of them, so ye hopefully they last 2-3 years, before I need to buy a new sticker, or I can just find a way to stick them on the wall permanently, maybe silicon or something in case they fell after time.

Mine dropped after about 2 years. Just out of no where, goes back up on the magnets but drops every now and again now.

OK, I am thinking of buying 4 medium ones all glossy so I hope the delivery is fast and it looks good

Question. Because I can't decide if I want to have it on a frame or not. I am planning to buy starwars. If I add frames, wouldn't that cover some of the details on the poster?

The frame is around the outside. I don't know if adding a frame adds to the dimensions or if the poster is shrunk to allow for the frame to fit the stated dimensions though. Edit: looking at the video of him comparing with frame versus without, they shrink the poster to allow the frame within the stated dimensions

I have 3 displates. Two mattes and one gloss. I just orded several more today for Black Friday. The gloss is designed to emphasize shadows leading to greater contrast between lights and shadows in a picture. My displate with the gloss finish doesn't have too many colors and the few colors really contrast well with each other which is why I chose gloss for it. Its stylized almost with a posterized 80s feel with an anime character that was very white with light blue and pink highlights throughout her design and a deep dark purple background and a orange yellow sun. This displate was perfect for a gloss finish. Matte emphasizes textures and is great for pictures with a lot of detail. The two matte displates fit this description. The displate website Q&A section explains this really well if you look. General rule, if there aren't too many textures with a few colors that contrast well (ie. One or two dark tones with one or two light tones), then get a gloss finish. If you are not sure, matte is usually a safe choice regardless of textures, lighting, or contrast. Lastly, displates with gloss finish don't need to be in direct sunlight as the glare can make them hard to see or look at.

Some have, takes about 3 months for adhesive to wear off but I’m in Australia so it gets hot There are replacement mounts you can buy. I’ve moved some posters around and stuff so it’s not too big of a deal

I dislike the frame. It makes the image itself smaller, and it looks tacky.
