Thank you so very much for this lovely comment. So glad we could help - also for more of a Eurostar guide in general we do have a video on our other channel The Brownie Life if that video would be helpful? (the journey back went a bit wrong and we show and talk about how this was rectified and our experience of Eurostar...worth a watch, as it may actually ease your anxiety knowing what can happen when things go wrong, but how great Eurostar are at helping you!. I can honestly say that my preferred method of transport is definitely trains, via Eurostar - I am not a great flyer (even though we travel) I still don't like it, Eurostar is a great alternative for travelling to some places and I am sure your journeys with them will be great. I really hope this video and the other one may help your travel anxiety further. Thanks for watching, be sure to subscribe if you want to see more of our videos. If you have anymore specific questions on the Eurostar, connecting trains, your travel anxiety drop us any further comments and we will do our best to answer them.

Hello hello 😊Yes.... its time, lets goooooooo....! Whoop! 😍 Now when I visited last May , I was able to still travel on the direct Eurostar to Marne La Vallee & I know you've all done the route via Lille before, but its good to watch this journey again to de-stress me about changing trains? ( I do it all the time in the UK with no worries , so why it makes me anxious goodness knows? ) Nice smooth journey & lovely snack choices! Awww 🥰 'we're in France.....' special moments ( I do that too but no-one hears me as I always travel solo 🙃lol🤣) It was definitely a busy train from Lille though eh? Fab to see you there ready for an amazing trip! xx

Hi Debbie, yep that's right I think they only cancelled the direct route to Disney from last June, so now only way of getting there by Eurostar is via Lille or to Gare Du Nord and then a train from there to Disney. We have done the trip via Lille most times to be honest and although the French train you get from Lille to Disney is often very busy it works out ok in the end (after all it's only just over an hour on that train). I hope this video has helped in some way, don't be anxious...it will all be fine (make sure when at Lille you go up in the lift to those screens as that will help you but also there are always staff around that area to ask - whereas on the platforms not as much info). Aw it made me sad to think you are on your own!...one day we might see you in the parks!, sending you lots of Disney hugs. Thanks as always for watching....so excited to put out the rest of the series of videos we filmed in Disneyland Paris this time!.

I’m sure this trip has already ended but I would love a video of your travel home since it is the exact route we will be taking from Disneyland to London in a few months!

Hi there and yes a video of the return trip is definitely something I will be doing on one of the next ones...but sadly I didn't do this time (prob should have done in the circumstances) as things went a little wrong...we missed the Eurostar home (all is explained in my Eurostar Travel Guide on our other channel The Brownie Life (I did this video on there for more travel purposes in general, as that channel we do travel, life and much more whereas this channel just Disney). So check out that video as that will provide lots of info generally and what happens when things go wrong!. However, for the purpose of your question and to help you with any queries I will explain a few details of the normal practice on the journey home from Disneyland Paris to London. For your journey home, you get your connecting train from Marne La Vallee to Lille and do all the security and check in/passports etc at Lille (usually you have 30 mins min at Lille to do this, some train times mean you have longer). From Disneyland Paris if you arrive at the station, I don't think you need to arrive much sooner than 60 mins before (as the platform you will go on won't be announced until around 10/20 mins before). We only go about 60 mins before as we collect our luggage from the 1st floor at the Disney Express (something I would highly recommend if you are staying at a Disney Hotel - you pay for it on checking out of your Disney Hotel and it's 30 Euros one way, then they take your luggage to the station for you ready to collect before your train home - however, be careful depending on your train home, because if you have an early train it might not work out time wise, whereas we always get the latest train back from Disney as we can to make the most of the park time and the Disney Express has always worked well for us. So once you have your luggage or if it's with you already - you make your way to the designated platform (make sure you check which coach you are in - then there are screens on the platform in Disney helping you to know where to stand for when the train pulls in, this really helps you so that you get on the right coach area) - again more info on our Eurostar Guide over on The Brownie Life channel. Once at Lille you go up to the next level (the area I showed in our travel day video of the check in area for the way back) and go through passport control/security, as you would have done in London. If a small connection time you usually go straight onto Eurostar, if there is a wait then there are some facilities in Lille at the waiting area (a small shop selling snacks, drinks etc and there are toilets). Same thing when boarding Eurostar look for which coach you are in and then correspond that to the letter you need to stand at so you are in the right area when the Eurostar pulls up. There is also a cafe area on Eurostar in case you didn't know - we don't tend to use on the way there but do often on the way back as the prices are way better than those in Disney's Marne La Vallee station...a Starbucks coffee was something like 8 Euros??, so we bought on the Eurostar instead. I really hope some of this helps, but if there is anything I have not explained or advised enough or something more specific you want any help with please do message back. The comments on here also help other people who might be wanting info on the same thing. Thanks so much for watching and please do consider subscribing, as it really helps our channel and put notifications on so you don't miss a video - lots more videos coming up from this trip and more trips to come!

@@DisneyBrownies-LE2024 thank you so much for all this information it was really helpful! We’re so nervous of our first time traveling that way. We only have a 36 minute connection in Lille and have just been so anxious about what happens if that’s not enough time. I’ve read they recommend 60 minutes but the through ticket purchased through Europstar only is having a 36 minute connect so hopefully no issues!! Ugh!

@@Klim2325 The 36 minute connection time is perfectly normal, it can be slightly less!. Yes, they do say about recommended time but if all your booking is done through Eurostar you don't need to worry as they have arranged this connection for you. All I would say is when you arrive in Lille get to the lifts and get to the level where you check in, where I showed on the travel day video as quick as you can - once you are there they will ensure you get on it. No one in your party should start to pop to the loo or having a look around ha ha...just get to the check in, there are toilets there and snacks you can buy if there is time or wait until you are on the Eurostar. We have done this journey many times and always got on the Eurostar home with no issues...well until this time!, as I say check out the Eurostar Travel Guide and that explains, plus there might be other info that helps. Thanks again for watching and glad I could help.
