The parents needs to be more vigilant on their children's internet use. It starts at home and the only way in for these guys is a kid that has free reign of the computer/phone/tablet. You can sync your devices and know when your minor is getting on line, it's not violating their privacy when they're using those devices under the guidelines you've set. It's not just LE's job to keep them safe, it's you.

When they're a minor living under your roof, there really shouldn't be any "privacy" in that regard. There's a difference between setting boundaries with your child, versus privacy. Also, parents forget that social media, for recreational purposes, is not a "right", meaning your children don't have to have it, just because everyone else's parents let them have it. Social media is not necessary for survival.

He gives their personal information and job out to the public, which increases the possibility of angry fathers, violent mental cases showing up to harass innocent wives, children, and coworkers. Roughly two hours later, Rainey collapsed and died inside that 3-by-8.5-foot room. Makes you wonder if they are being punished for a crime they have not yet committed. If they travel to the location of the child, it's over. But if they are only exercising their free speech online, do they and their families deserve to have their destroyed? Oh wait... nevermind, because this video just destroyed their lives. No more innocent until proven guilty, no more fair trial, no protection for their families who likely had no idea this was happening. One of these days an angry father is going to show up at their house and kill their innocent kids out of hate or revenge. Pedophiles need to be locked up, but if we don't give them a fair trial, how can we expect to get a fair trial if we are ever accused of something?

Hats off to all the good ones......as for the crooked ones......hope you get caught and go to prison with the rest of the criminals.

I'm in Broward - we need to steal this sheriff! Thanks Grady for protecting the kids. Imagine, even if the save only a few kids, how much better communities will be having five or ten good families in the future. Those guys will get what they deserve in the pen

I live in Chicago we need this guy I love him he does the right thing and when telling the press what is going on and answering their questions he is honest and definitely does not mince word’s they are extremely lucky to have him when he retires his Dept and the citizens of his county and town will seriously miss him‼️‼️‼️

Look up this sheriff and his opinion on bodycams. He said if we wanted recordings ``every citizen has cell phones that can point at us” and used the privacy excuse. It shouldn't even be necessary to explain why that's ridiculous in every sense. And it's apparent he believes his officers can do no wrong period and even since that's been proven wrong. He believes they are a complete waste of funds and along with other things, he’s just a virtue signaling authority figure pandering to the public and his community when they've been pushing for them for years.

This is one policing report that I am glad to hear. These officers are truly serving in one of the most important areas possible. The pedophiles certainly need to be caught and removed from society permanently because they are a permanent threat to our most valuable resource, our innocent children. Thank you to all the public servants who participated in this operation.

My wife and I went to the light year movie. Being a child’s movie they made a big deal of one of the of one of the main charters being a lesbian. Now two consenting adults have their own rights, I have no problem with their choice. However, there is know place in children’s cartoons. Disney has gone to far.
