Some fans believe (and even I find it a coherent theory at some point) that Queen Grimhilde actually survived that cliff fall and changed her identity to Mother Gothel! But truth is that Disney used the same model of the Evil Queen to create Mother Gothel's character. But it's real fun though making out these grand theories all by ourselves. Besides, who knows!? Might actually maybe turn out to be true😉

My theory is mother gothel is the descendant of the evil queen she might be her mother or grand mother or great grand mother cuz they are both obsessed with beauty and they kinda have the same vibe

If you're going to use descendants then at least realize that in the books it says they brought multiple villains back to life so they could live on the Isle. Like Malificent Evil Queen and Gaston

In the live-action/CGI remake of "The Little Mermaid", Ursula (hopefully played by Phyllis Smith) doesn't get defeated at all! Ariel (hopefully played by Francesca Angelucci Capaldi) fishes out a mirror from her collection, shows Ursula her reflection in it and, realizing she had made a spectacle of herself, the sea witch confesses that she thought witch craft would make her feel better but it didn't, turns friendly, releases all her prisoners (including King Triton) and casts the same spell she cast on Ariel before, but, that time, she lets Prince Eric (hopefully played by Noah Schnapp) kiss Ariel! I mean, I chose Phyllis Smith to play Ursula in the live-action/CGI remake of "The Little Mermaid" to show people that villains like the ones you talked about are evil on the outside because they're sad inside!

I’m confused tho. If Scar is alive, when does he appear? We already see his skin on Hercules. Does Hades have the ability to revive animals as well? Is Scar on the Isle of the lost? What role or environmental factor made him survive the hyenas? Sorry for all the questions, but I wonder how Scar appears. He’s kinda one of my favorite villain in Disney. Dunno why.

What if Maleficent died and end up in underworld, but Hades fell in love with her, brought her back to life and end up his life in underworld because of his love for Maleficent (Descendants)

In the prequel book to descendants: the isle of the lost by Melissa de la Cruz, it is stated that all the villains that died, were brought back to life just to be put on the isle.

I personally had a thought that Frollo was a demon from hell disguised as a human!

I think Gaston survived now that you mention it , my favorite of all Disney villains might be Scar or Ursula 😍.

They are brought back to life in Pattycake Productions music videos. One of the villains even talks about them cheating death in one of the videos. The prinsesses and villains have some powerful songs, by the way.

One problem with the Ursula theory. After Prince Eric impales her, we see the polyps that were imprisoned in her lair turn back into merfolk. If she didn’t die, how could all of her magic be undone like that?

Zira could be still alive. Sure we actually see a dead 💀 lion’s paw but in the river but that could be Nuka’s body since he died near in the dam blocking the river so she could’ve swam away. Though this is unlikely since the fall probably would’ve broken her bones and she might’ve been died from drowning.

1st of all an Octopus has 8 arms not tentacles 2nd Squids also have 8 arms and 2 tentacles. Mimic Octopi have 7 arms.

This video is a lot of wishful thinking. It’s essentially “seeing is believing”, “we don’t believe it if there’s no body”, “if they’re in Descendants, then they’re not dead,” and “even if we see it, it’s not official because it wasn’t used” (referring to Lucifer’s death fall). That is essentially all there is to every theory in this video. Oh, and “if the villain uses magic, that they can’t die.” (Sorry, but they very much can, remember Doctor Facilier in “The Princess and the Frog”? Magic’s power can be extremely unreliable, especially to the person using it.)

Idk if you know this but at the beginning of the first descendants movie Ben said that some villains where brought back to life to be put on the island so I don't think most of who you said survived actually did.

I believe this first there was the evil queen then she decided to become mother Goffle then shuriki then someone else

So the evil queen uses her potion to bring her self back

Got help is my favorite villan because tangled is my favorite movie and I like all of the characters

The worst villains don’t stop fighting until they’re dead. The fact that the Evil Queen, Maleficent (from 1959’s Sleeping Beauty, I’m not counting the Angelina Jolie films, because they contradict each other), Gaston, Ursula, Judge Frollo and other villains like them haven’t done anything in many years to get revenge, that tells me they are no longer conscious of anything at all and have ceased to exist. Even if they were in some form of Tartarus, they would find some subtle way to torment the persons who put them there. Dead, buried, end of story.

Scar can't be alive, in Hercules you can see Scar's dead head on Hercules when he is posing for the painting.

All of the villians on this list who appear on the Isle of the Lost WERE dead. They were all brought back by the Fairy Godmother because King Beast felt that death was to good for them.

if you would actually read the first descendants book you would know that the that the fairies brought them back to life just to put them on the island

Malifecent had to have either lived fully or die fully. The Evil Queen is totally dead. Jafar is dead. Urasla is totallly dead. Shan Yu is dead. Lucifer is not dead. Docter Faciler is really dead. Mother Gothel has died because she is really old and she fell from a really tall tower. Gaston also fell from a really tall tower which means he is dead. Scar died because he was attacked by highinas. My favorite disney villain is Ursla.

I guess Disney could Make a 2nd movie with Belle but this Time including Gaston Survival idk how the plot line would go but Maybe Have Ben character be animated until Belle son since he is already on the Descendants movie I wanna see if Ben and Gill on the animated version would get Along and which character would actually play Gaston Wife.
