Has it been 35 years already? I do miss the backlot tour and the Great Movie Ride too. I do t remember ever seeing the show Hollywood! Hollywood! It looks very interesting. Thanks for takings us back to the beginning!

I don’t think the show was there for that long, the park had a rushed opening to beat Universal Studios so they put this song and dance routine on until they had a real show which was Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage. I do miss those old rides, the park really isn’t the same anymore. Many thanks for watching and commenting, it’s much appreciated 👍

Wonderful memories, loved the backlot tour and great movie ride! Disney studios has completely changed, hopefully get to see finished article in next few years. That show looked quite the production. Videos like this deserve more views!

The Backlot Tour and Great Movie Ride were classic attractions and are much missed. It’s like a whole different park these days! I hope that you get to go back soon, I think you’d enjoy the updates!

Many thanks George, my Dad did a great job of recording our trip to Walt Disney World and now I can share it with everyone.

You could say that, only the park entrance and street is still there, everything before the police car is shown in this video is now gone.
