Thank you. We're boarding Anthem of the Seas in less than a week, and have never been to Southampton before. Glad to know everything went smoothly at arrival. My wife keeps packing and repacking, fretting over the weather and making sure she's prepared.

I’ve sailed from Southampton many times and this embarkation was by far the fastest and most convenient. I really couldn’t believe I was on the ship in 8 minutes. I can’t help with the weather but hopefully it’ll be fine, where abouts are you sailing to?

I loved the bionic bar ❤️ we used to go karaoke the deck below and and slip upstairs and order my drink there as it was quicker 😂🤣😂.

Amazing!!! I miss it all, I earnt alot of my stripes on RC ships and the last one was the Anthem. Amazing video and jealous 😢 BUT 2morro we board the Ambassador Ambition and you may a flow rider and climbing wall and north star but we have a card room and iv heard it gets pretty wild during Gin Rummy Competition il have you know. lol Great video, looking forward to watching them all. Thanks You.

Fun to see your Royal Caribbean experience! I find royal’s embarkation process to board the ship is so well done, I can’t believe how quick it is to get on the ship haha. We looooved the solarium on Harmony! So nice to relax. Wonder had no air lol! Nice you had no issues with noise in your cabin. Glad you got a great room! Lol I haven’t seen bumper cars on a ship yet, that’s so neat. Promenade cafe is my fav spot and Sorrento’s is Greg’s 😂 he still raves about it and mentions it all the time haha. We found the MDR disappointing since they changed all their menus. Went so downhill in our opinion. Fantastic review!!! Sorry we have been MIA, I hope you are doing great!! 😊💕

This was a long postponed first Royal Caribbean cruise and I was so excited! Why is boarding their ships so much faster than others? I don’t get it! Anthem is a cold weather ship, that’s what there’s bumper cars and an indoor pool. The Promenade Cafe and Sorrento’s became a regular late night haunt of ours 😂 The MDR’s did improve on our sailing but still lacked that wow factor! 💯 agree. I, saw great deal marella, next June, 7nights on ship 4 days alcudia . Might jump ship next Yr lol. You are so perfect, doing your vlogs ✨️ 😊

I doubt I’ll board a ship faster than that! The Flowrider looks fantastic but a bit scary too. Yes but thankfully the food does improve, it was just a bad start. Many thanks for watching and commenting 👍

Hey, excellent as always. I think our embarkation was about ten minutes last year, how can royal get it right and others not, an efficient App helps. Great warm up to the rest of series! Shame about seat in the restaurant. Thanks for sharing

Exactly, I find it baffling why other cruise lines with smaller ships can’t get embarkation right? As you’ll see in my later vlogs, the MDR experience does improve but other issues arise.

Agreed - We did our first Southampton departure last year and from getting out of taxi to schooners bar it was 15 minutes ! So good we are booked to go back on in July :) Good Vid - Cheers
