Exactly! So many put Ariel in a "mermaid dress" when she's actually wearing dresses and a wedding dress in the movie.

It's literally the *only* wedding gown that's ever spoken to me in such a way. (I identify with Belle anyway, and share her love of books, so that might be part of why, but that dress is also simply incredible!!!)

i was expecting some vague resembalnce like most of these types of videos are, but I actually gasped when I saw Cinderella's dress, it was spot on. And the dresses following also actually looking like the dresses is amazing.

I love this. But upon second watch I realize that the gowns themselves don’t all completely embody the princess attached to it, but rather the styling! Gloves and accessories (added sleeves not attached to the garment aha) are what helps embody those princesses specifically. Not to say that the dresses aren’t absolutely gorgeous!!!!!!

honestly it didn't need to be. other's have tried it with the mermaid style and it was the only thing that hinted at it being "Ariel inspired". This gown plays more on her wedding dress at the end of the movie
