@@rayjohnson67 that’s not even remotely true and none of these comments are, Alice Liddell was almost five years old when she first met the mathematician Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, better known by his pen name Lewis Carroll. She lived at Christ Church College at the University of Oxford, where her father was the Dean and Dodgson was a maths tutor. With Dodgson's study adjoining the Liddells' lodgings, he soon became friend, photographer and storyteller to the Liddell family. The Alice stories were first created one legendary 'golden afternoon' on 4 July 1862. While entertaining the three Liddell sisters, Alice, Lorina and Edith, during a boating trip, Dodgson improvised the story that would become Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. The main character, Alice, shared many characteristics with Alice Liddell, being stubborn, precocious and curious, (although the famous illustration of Alice by John Tenniel would depart strongly from Liddell's brunette bob and short fringe). She never married him, instead On 15 September 1880 Alice married Reginald Hargreaves - a pupil of Dodgson's at Christ Church - at Westminster Abbey. Together they raised three sons: Alan (b.1881), Leopold (b.1883) and Caryl (b.1887). She actually went on to be a sketch artist, and author, and model.

The problem with belle is that she willingly went with him so, she wasn't a prisoner. Splitting is a characteristic of borderline personality disorder, which is NOT related to or on the same spectrum as bipolar disorder. This video just perpetuates the harmful media stereotype that people with bipolar disorder have "warm to cold" mood swings from one second to the next. Also, Anna and Elsa are two SEPARATE characters, so them having opposing attitudes or personality types is irrelevant if you're trying to use them as an example of bipolar...

Ariel wasn’t a hoarder. She collected very specific items and kept them arranged to be able to enjoy them. Belle was not a captive. She stayed willingly and was able to leave at any time; which she did when she went to the west wing, the ONE thing she was asked not to do. If anything, she treated him better than I would have, and looked behind his physical form to who he was. Alice in Wonderland is not schizophrenia. It came out in the 1950s. They were overly excited about colors. It’s a story about growing up. Leaving behind the world of childhood and becoming an adolescent and an adult. Frozen is not bipolar disorder. Anna would more likely have adhd and Elsa clearly has anxiety, if you REALLY need to diagnose them.

Exactly! I personally think if Alice had been real, she legitimately had a dream about a bunny and a long pit because children do play with "alive" creatures and I myself have had dreams of deep holes. But I think that she then was given some uh "special" juice and cake (like in her "dream" because real life events can show up in your dreams while you are having them) and those things were pretty much hard alcohol and crack, making her insane.

They've changed Stockholm Syndrome. You don't actually fall in love. It's a survival tactic that your brain does to cope and also try and better your chances of survival and stress. Why eventually some captors can actually trust the captive to even leave the house on their own and come back. But once you remove them completely they realize they don't love them. I mean, your brain going to handle being raped everyday? Or make you think you love them and it's actually NOT traumatizing?

The reason the mad hatter from alice in wonderland is called the mad hatter is because in the middle ages, hatters (workers that made hats) used mercury on the hats they were using, causing them to get sick, resulting in odd actions. Splitting isn't a Bipolar thing. It's a Borderline personality disorder symptom. Splitting refers to the Black and White thinking and sliding into loving or hating. This puts people with BPD into seeing someone or a situation as either good or bad, there is no grey area. BPD is *NOT* Bipolar disorder. The only similarity is the fact that they both have disregulated mood swings. Bipolar's version is a stretch of a "bad" mood for weeks to months long, in contrast to BPD's cyclical occurrence of hours to days long. Bipolar can also be comorbid *with* BPD. So it's best to get a thorough diagnosis to be sure. Bipolar has some really awful medicines that can really screw someone up if they don't truly have Bipolar (i.e. lithium has permanent effects).

I saw a one-act play by a group of people who do a Shakespeare in the park. The theme of the play was that all of Shakespeare's female characters suffered from mental illness and the idea of the play was that they were all in group therapy in a mental institution.

I've heard somewhere where I psychiatrist KZreadr described Ariel as having Body Dysmorphia. She constantly states she wish to change herself to be more human, trading her fin for legs even sacrificing her voice to get it.
I love everyone jumping to defend the princesses. 😅
The problem with belle is that she willingly went with him so, she wasn't a prisoner. The only reason belle started to fall in live with the beast was because the beast fell in love with her first and started to treat her better. This was seen after the beast saved her from the wolves. If you've ever seen Cinema Therapy, the therapist explains that it isn't EXACTLY Stockholm syndrome.

It's actually Lima syndrome. Belle didn't quickly fall in love with Beast, she kept fighting and looking for a why back home. He was the one who fell in love before her.

Stockholm syndrome is where the captive also starts acting like their captor as well as falling love with them. But that’s not what happened in B&B because if anything the beast started acting like Belle.
Alice was just in a big dream bc at the end of the movie her stepmother woke her up cause she fell asleep under a tree while doing homework

Because of this, "mad as a hatter" was a popular saying because it was a literall definition of the workers unsafe jobs.
"Honestly never thought of it like that" everyone thought of that
1) beauty only fell in love with beast after he tried to change his ways 2) Alice was just high on mushrooms 3) Elsa and Anna just have a chaotic friendship 4)most people just like collecting things
This theory exists in every kid show.
They didn’t know about A lot of the disorders at the time so it can’t be actually based off of them

Finely a theory that makes sense

Belle didn't fall in love with the Beast when she was a captive. If she had then the spell would have been broken when he let her go. But it wasn't broken because she didn't love him yet.
I am oddly super happy that Alice from Alice in Wonderland was included in this lol 🤣
And I guess Vanellope represents AD-HD? If that counts?
Literally that psychologist who made the paper about the Disney princess im like wow he/she had nothing better to do 😂

Friendly reminder - From my observations, Ariel collected those things because it was the closest to where she always dreamed of going, which is ,you guessed it ,land . People tend to collect things that makes them feel closer to their dreams . so yeah, this is my observation.
I would say Ariel really had Body Dismorphia
First Winnie the Pooh, Spongebob and now Princesses. I don't know what to believe anymore 🥹🫠
I have bipolar and i always loved the movie frozen because I could resonate with it and I loved how it was a good way for kids to learn about how pushing your feelings down and trying not to feel them won’t make your problems go away
Imagine the writers just making a movie and people started saying that their stories were based on mental illnesses
