Coco brings me to tears every single time. When my family went to go see the movie my younger brother fell in love with the main character. He saw himself in the character, he saw his family in the movie and the traditions and culture that he belongs to. He saw what he described home. That day a young brown boy saw that his culture and background MATTERS. He saw that HE matters. Representation matters.

Anthony Gonzalez has the sweetest energy I have seen from a young performer in years...just saw Coco last week...it brought back so many wonderful memories from my Mexican culture... I got so emotional again listening to Remember me..😅
