I remember being excited to replay the Tokyo race, as I didn't like the fact that McQueen lost it when I was younger. Despite this though, I was always confused why the game still treated it like he lost

i guess the game wanted to continue the story of the movie but the developers didn't want to change the 1st place requirement for game progression

I love the part where Nigel Gearsley said to Lightning that he was a huge fan of him.

this used to be my favorite game ever. Cars 2 was my favorite movie as a kid so I loved to play the missions as finn mcmissile and re enact the stuff in the film. I remember the hardest mission for me was either the airport one or the mater water one. I had to get my dad to do those for me 😂

I still have my son’s copy! Hard to believe this awesome game is over 10 years old. The hardest mission for my son was Casino Escape Eventually he got past that missions, and he completed the game in two days.

Like that story. This is one of my favourite games on DS. Even if I’m more focused on games like Little Nightmares, or they Telltale Batman games. Gotta revisit this classic game at some point.

I still think Cars 2 is a bad movie, but it's still great to come back and experience this game again.

God the the spy missions and their game over screens always terrified me for some reason. I've almost exclusively done races.

I love how this is pretty much the only Cars game that follows the story of one of the movies.

The game, the cars, the sounds, it's still the same like I used to remember it, this game is a work of art, the opening of "Cars 2" birngs me so much memories, it's giving my chills, it's giving my vibes, I just want to play the game again.

Cars 2 itself, is a mix bag for most people. Then again Cars as a franchise has always been a mixed bag.

It is so weird seeing this game again. I still have my old cart somewhere and I am not really going to go back and play it. The game isn't that Impressive for what it was. Many other 3D DS games do a lot more better then what Cars 2 did on the DS. This game gave me bad memories, I could not finish it due to the fact my Triggers on the DS would not work and it was very frustrating not being able to use Boost and Drift for the corners so I would always ram into the wall when I was trying to stop. But hey maybe if I played this on my 3DS Now, I might be able to finish it properly. I only ever got to the Mater Water Fall Level.
