@@SamsDisneyDiaryyes it is, thank you uploading all these amazing episodes.
They need to recieve an honorary Grammy for all the joy and happiness they brought us
My deepest sympathies and condolences to Richard Sherman's family and the entire Disney family. Your music has stayed with me ever since my first trip to Disney World in 1978 and it never left me. I have dedicated my home to Disney and most of my playlists are all Disney music. I am also thrilled to share the same birthday as Mr Sherman. June 12th. Thank you Mr Sherman for gracing the world along with your brother for the memories and music. You will forever be missed. Rest in peace😢❤
The Sherman brothers deserve the presidential medal of freedom because they gave so much joy through music four the world.

Richard did sound very much like the singer on "The Aristocats" title song! 😄
❤There's A Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow." My grandfather was an advertising agency founder on Sunset Blvd in LA CA. He and Walt Disney were pals. Mr. Disney would visit my grandparents house in Reseda, CA. They used to race pigeons and even hunt deer together.

They deserve N Oscar or Lifetime Achievement awards. Their songs influenced & touched generations Past, Present & Future. They were Phenomenal!!! ❤❤🎉🎉😂😂🎉🎉❤❤😊😊
This music writing duo rules. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 It's such a shame that Robert Sherman died. R.I.P. Robert Sherman, we'll miss you so much. Richard is still alive and sings pretty well. He and Robert were both born to Russian-Jewish immigrants, Al Sherman who was a songwriter and a composer and Rosa Dancis-Sherman. 👍🏻 if you want to meet Richard on Zoom and Bob in heaven someday.

Rip Richard Sherman
This was the year my family first got the Disney Channel and I thought programs like this were wonderful with a focus on the "Walt" years and a lot of making-of vignettes long before it was overrun with shrill kiddie sitcoms.
One of The Sherman Brothers clients Hayley Mills helped her with songs like "Let's Get Together", "Castaway" and "Enjoy It". Fact: Hayley is not a very good singer, but Richard M. Sherman & Robert B. Sherman said "Hayley, just be yourself" and she did. Annette Funicello, another client also helped them with the songs "Tall Paul" and "The Strumming Song"(from "The Horsemasters"). The Shermans also helped Annette with the theme from "The Monkey's Uncle" when she sung with The Beach Boys. Sadly Robert passed away on March 6,2012 at 86. Richard died on May 25,2024 at 95. They will be missed.
Love the Sherman brothers and Walt. God bless them.

Sometimes they were a trio. When Walt died, they continued their talents as a duo.
When I visit the past, I’ll meet them both. It’s my only chance! Believe.

Fantastic! I'm always fascinated by the background/ creative process and I just love their work
We're always on "a jolly holiday" when we "get together" with our unique and catchy tune creating musical brothers. Stay safe everyone!
So much joy and purity in their music. One truly appreciates it in these times especially.
Truly gems
"The Aristocats" was not only a favorite of mine but my nephew, who we supervised at Mom's and my house in Los Angeles. He watched it on our living room television about 10 times in a row every day during a particular period of time. What a kid babysitting tool.😂❤
So great to see this, tks for it!
It’s one of my favorites of D.F.A.
Fun fact: Not only did the Sherman Brothers wrote music for Disney movies, but they also wrote music for Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland (the 1989 Japanese animated movie), Charlotte's Web (the 1973 animated film), Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Snoopy Come Home, among others

What will it be like if Richard and Robert Sherman wrote songs for Barney and Friends, Madeline, Sesame Street, Kids for Character, An American Tail, and the animated Disney version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? That could've been beautiful in my opinion.

The whole series originally aired in 1984-1985 - Then replayed on the Disney Channel in the mid 90s.... It was recorded during the second run in the 90s. That's also who the Ducky Nash episode isn't available - it was never "rerun" in the 90s.
