It's extremely unlikely because they don't have Junction point's input anymore.

The fact that this game is coming to all platforms gives me even more hope for the Epic Mickey series. It probably won’t be long before Epic Mickey 2 and possibly even Castle of Illusion are also remade as well. It wouldn’t surprise me if Epic Mickey 3 becomes a reality soon!

I never did play or even look into this game when it came out, but this trailer has me wanting to get it now. I love the classic throwbacks. That opening scene is straight out of the Thru the Mirror short and Fantasia and it took me right back to my childhood.

​​@@santiagofigueredo1885Remasters usually are just games ported from ps3/xbox360 onto modern consoles with very slight graphical changes and maybe more depending on how lazy the studio is. Remakes are built from the ground up and has (usually) all new voice actors and looks pretty different from the original game. It's pretty hard to tell the difference now a days because companies just don't care anymore and label a lazy port as a "remake" even though they barely changed anything.

i like the detail of his ears changing sides with the players pov, just like the animated series.

It's a reference to the 1936 Mickey Mouse cartoon Thru the Mirror, which the cartoon itself is based on the 1871 book Through the Looking Glass, which is a sequel to Alice in Wonderland

I thoroughly enjoyed this game back then, and I'm sure it's still gonna be incredible. It gives me hope that we might see Epic mickey 2 again

My sister originally got the game on the Wii, but I always loved playing it over and over. I can't wait to play it again after all these years.

I remember seeing all the concept art and previews in the Game Informer Magazine for this game over 10 years ago and thought how creatively creepy but still awesome it was. The new paint effects look great in a newer engine, it definitely does not hold back on taking full advantage of technology advances in the last decade since the original!

I hope it has an objective menu, something to help ya figure out what to do and where to go
