I LOVE how the princess voices though in Japanese has the complete tempo and energy of the original. I was only listening but knew who was speaking 😂✌🏼

@@jewishgamergirl No disrespect at all as I respect anyone's traditional holidays but its probably because its not a legally recognized holiday outside of Israel. Basically holds the same status as Halloween or Valentines Day. Plus, Christmas can be celebrated by those who aren't necessarily Christian as the traditions and celebrations are more of a broadly appealing nature in its songs, festivities, and themes. Thats not to say Christmas isn't religions either. Its sacred to Christians as the birth of christ of course. Hanukkah just doesn't hold that appeal to non-jews as the celebration is far more heavily religious in nature and more Israeli specific in nature. But its still an unofficial observed holiday and I know folks who do it or do both holidays. You do you! Plus, the percentage of people who celebrate Hanukkah in the USA, France, China and Japan where the parks are vs their entire populace is not enough to warrant but maybe a token float or a few menorahs in the parade dedicated to it. I do think the US parks have Hanukkah themed holiday merchandise though. I swear I have seen it.

Disney does recognize Hanukkah. They have merch for the holiday. I would say it's better than nothing. Could they do more? Yes, it's just a matter of which park and where.
I saw this in 2019. Without performers this parade looks dead. OLC, do your job.

I thought it was because of the government's attitude, which is not going to end COVID forever.

They have to still follow covid protocols of that country. This is why it is a watered down version of it
At least in WDW we have full casted parades. And in Tokyo they have ZERO! OLC do better.
