As a kid myself, DON'T SHOW KIDS DISNEY. They are going to grow something different. Walt Disney himself was sexist, and a Islamophobic. THEY NEVER SHOW PRINCESSES WHO ARE DIFFERENT. Show princesses with bad hair days, with acne, with skin conditions, different eye colours, different body proportions, and SHOW A DECENT PLOT without a princess being the "softie" and the prince being the "bad boy". Why don't they show males who are generally soft? Or females who are warriors and fall in love with a soft prince? To me it would seem like a great plot. Honestly these Disney movies or perhaps "sh*t" are provoking children to hate different people. We need to embrace diversity, which Disney ISN'T DOING. I hope people of this generation grow up to make actually beautiful and decent movies embracing Diversity, not cutting off it.

Well Aurora met him when she was a baby as it was a pre-arranged marriage to combine the two countries. Then when she met him in the woods it was just dancing nothing wrong with that. Technically they knew eachother for 100 years after the sleeping curse fell over the whole country and Prince Phillip had to save it. So I think that people misunderstand the story and that they were always planned to get married.

Technically, Aurora was already betrothed to Phillip. So even if they didn’t fall in love so quickly (😂), the one day later marriage would’ve still have happened regardless. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Is no one going to talk about how all the bad kids in Pinocchio turn into donkeys to be used as slaves and dont get to see their parents again? I mean one of them was literally begging to see his mom again. Thats so dark and sad. :(

Cinderella and Snow White are only the princesses that their parents are both deceased. The rest are both alive or mother deceased while the father is alive (except for Tiana ofc, her father is the deceased and her mother is alive)

Snow White is supposed to be dumb. She's supposed to take the apple. It's part of the whole 'don't trust everyone you meet' message of the film. So she may not be the best role model to look up to, she does teach you a valuable lesson.

The problem is that instead of blaming the suspect for wanting to murder the innocent, you're putting your blame on the victim. Ariel the type of girl that would do anything for a guy they could cheat on her several times and she'll still forgive them 😞

In Ariel's defense, multiple events had led up to what she did. She had always been fascinated by humans and the human world. Meeting Prince Eric followed(? I think? I haven't watched the movie in a while) by her father destroying one of her most prized possessions were both catalysts for why she went to see Ursula to turn her human, where Ursula took advantage of her vulnerable state to make the deal. In Snow White's defense, she's 14. 14 year olds are stupid. I don't care if you yourself are 14 and consider yourself much more mature than others your age, you're stupid. I was a stupid 14 year old once. In fact, I'm 17 and I'm stupid. And I'll continue to be stupid. Yeah.

Ultimately the biggest blame goes to Sebastian. We willing followed Ariel to the devils lair and didn’t do a damn thing. The moment he saw Ariel swim off with those eels, he should have booked it back to Trident to let him know what’s going on.

Fun fact the little mermaid was originally written by HCA to express the feelings for a man who did not love him back. At the end of the original story the prince marries another woman and the little mermaid dies and turns to foam. Just the same way the man he loved (edvard collins) married a woman and displayed disgust for his affections. Like his little mermaid hca died without ever getting married. Disneys little mermaid was given a happy ending because of that.

Well, yes and no, Edvard as far as I remember wasn't actually disgusted by HCA confession, he wrote in his memoir about the confession, and he didn't describe HCA in a weird manner or using insulting words, just that he knows HCA was saddened by it And plus, the original ending HCA wrote was that the mermaid died immediately when she fell into the sea, no bubble, none of the part where her soul was ascended to heaven, just an empty death until he rewrites it, speculation maybe, but HCA probably didn't want kids to think that having your love rejected means that your sacrifice or grief for the others happiness is unrewarded, he is quite the religious man after all

Yeah, his love was unrequited. His friend wasn't disgusted by it, but he did write back that he was unable to return his feelings. Later, he wrote to him that his parents had arranged a marriage with him and another woman. HCA had also been in love with his friend The Swedish Nightingale, Jenny Lind. She also did not return his feelings and wanted to remain friends so he wrote The Nightingale. A lot if HCA's works were based on heartbreak and his personal feelings during his life.

But if you haven't, go watch it so you'll finally know that there's a reason why Ariel's father did all those "horrible" things. The actions might be mean but there's a good reason behind it. fun fact: at the beginning of the movie, Princess Aurora’s and Prince Philip’s parents had made a marriage contract soon after Aurora was born (Philip was probably 5 by my estimation) so one way or another they were going to get married. they were just lucky enough to fall in love and not have a lonely, miserable, loveless marriage, to which was only, to solidify the safety of their kingdoms

I think it was a goodbye kiss and snow is in a coma so not really a corpse, if she were a corpse then her body would've decayed. Also, in the movie it mentioned that the prince searched far and wide for her and just happened to end up finding snow.

Most of the early princesses are really young and/or incredibly sheltered. Ariel, Aurora and Jasmine were 16 and Snow White was 14. Aurora lived in the woods her entire life and the prince was the first man she ever met it seemed. Ariel and Jasmine escaped their fathers supervision occasionally but otherwise were tightly watched and kept in the castle. Snow White was 14... she went from sheltered to running for her life and probably had a mental breakdown.

Fact: Did you know that in the Grimms' brother version the prince just came by suddenly and wanted to marry her. But the dwarfs said that the girl is dead, so the prince decided to take care of the 'corpse' and he promised that to the dwarfs. His servant came by and began to carry the coffin. Then somewhere at one point on the way to the princes' home something happened (I forgot what it was again) and Snow White spit the poisonous apple bits, that she ate, out. And then they married and the queen later on died! The end.

Ok so even though Ursula was evil, Ariel signed a contract Taht says take my voice and give me legs and after she did that Ursula is said to be evil and villain for doing as she said she didn't force Ariel and Ariel came to her..

Snow White is seven in the original tale, so her taking an apple from a stranger is more believable, plus during the time period she grew up in and the fact she was Royalty meant she was sheltered. So her taking an apple from a stranger is kinda believable, especially considering the woman actually ate half the apple to prove it was safe, which isn't the case as the other half was poisoned.

To make the snow white and the prince scene a little less creepy incase you haven't watched the movie, they're *NOT* strangers. They met at her palace at the start and technically "kissed" as well. I guess you could consider that a "relationship." So yeah he actually did know and love her and she sang about him in the middle of the movie as well so she loved him too.
