If you watched the entire thing, you would see it's a timeline of reports and the most recent one was in 2022, right when the Ukraine war started. Any new report will just be redundant. Russia is still fighting its cyberwar against the US and what it calls "The West"

Me too, for a couple of years around 2011-12. After comparing RT America and RT Germany (also Ruptly) I realised I'd been duped, they were just out to stir things up. Clever propaganda, very clever. No Soviet-style voices from an alternate reality, they'd just take what's already that and milk it for all it's worth, create a narrative that wasn't really there, make fringe groups look like they're the voice of the ordinary folk, stir up lots of anger, and create their own alternative "MSM" for idiots like me. It worked like a charm! For a bit.

I used to watch a lot of their videos and read articles when I was a teenager. They kinda fell off my radar. It makes sense to me though now looking back on it. Teenager me was thinking, "oh it's a foreign news source, maybe they'll be less biased about American politics." But I guess when it comes to American politics, everyone in the world pretty much has a stake.

When I used to watch RT online, I kept in mind that THIS was the opinion and perspective of a foreign government. Our own government thinks we are all too stupid to recognize subterfuge all by ourselves. Many RT stories were an adversarial spin on the situations. But some stories were just free-reporting/actual journalism that MSM would not cover. They are definitely a foreign agent seeking a voice and influence in our culture. That should never be forgotten. But I also don't think they should be silenced. Silencing opposition is a Leftist fallacy these days and will NEVER be good in a free country. Russia should definitely ban our media in return as there is no doubt our News is political and biased these days. True journalism is DEAD in America. Ask any conservative seeming journalist ( they don't even have to actually be conservative btw) how hard it is for them to find a job in the U.S.. Elon is hated now for simply paving the road to free speech on Twitter. Our free press is a laughing stock of the world now. It's shameful that our younger generations are so misinformed they cannot even discuss issues without name calling and trying to silence dissenting views.

Except that RT was never that. RT was typically some of the best and often only credible reporting to be had. I used to watch RT online with the understanding that the Russian media company was the only one that would touch an important story and to not spin it in any particular direction. In a nation like the US with a hyper-corrupt govn't, media and industry leaders, no spin is necessary. An RT stringer could just stick a camera out a window and capture the proverbial trainwrecks surrounding them.

As a matter of fact several well known Americans were host on the show, when there careers ended in the U.S. I'm sure Russia looks for intelligent Americans to move to Russia and prosper in there country. I live next to Russia. There is a reason why all wealthy people have moved their resources outside russia. There is a reason why educated people leave if they have the chance. Basically people who move there are going because of family/other relatives. No one regular moves there seeking a better quality life. Sure, if you are a millionare you can live well anywhere.

I was with someone who's ID got confused with someone else's in another state in 2016. She had to wait a week for the other state to verify and correct the issue and then they took her vote late. I never knew that was even possible. What we were told is her ID was the same as a baby not even a year old yet in another state out west. Sadly, she passed away from complications with chrons but if she were alive I think she would of still talked about it.

You’re failing to understand that immigrants from eastern Europe & Slavic countries are watching Russian speaking cable channels HERE in the USA. RT propaganda dominates these channels HERE. RT propaganda also is dominating the Spanish speaking cable channels HERE in USA. This report is probably 5 yrs old - RT is very old school - social media is RT on Steroids - Tic Toc - forget about it - does anyone wonder why all these young kids are suddenly experts on Palestine? that is a perfect example of an attack vector. and notice what it does - it completely divides the old vs the young - score

This is very good. The thing is, as a keen observer of human behavior in my country, what people like Putin, Trump, Putin, Steve Bannon, Putin, Tucker Carlson, Putin know is Americans have a very short memory. Mostly because so many Americans don't know anything about their own history and guess what...they don't care they don't know. In fact they wear it like a badge of honor. If 60 Minutes really wants to do something to save our democracy, which the Chinese government believes is waning, is to publish this again and again and especially close to the presidential election next year.

Social media posts designed to inflame all sides of the political spectrum is another trait. It's a war for your opinion and emotion. The "firehouse of falsehoods" works great and summarizes RT's slogan, "Question More." (At least seen in English channels)

Dismissing every western intelligence and media source because the american military once upon a time conducted a campaign based on faulty information isn't logical. That's what she's doing. Yep. Computers must be kept out of voting other than to record and process statistically results of paper Ballot counting - where there is no cardboard in the windows and observers are "free range". Oh but "Covid". Cardboard blocks it completely but don't tell Dr. Fauci. he has a nice money spinner - that causes Bronchitis, another great money spinner ! The other one is "Digital Currency". @awake3607 I do enough digging and spend considerable time looking up all the fake news that the US govt and its media cook up to hide corporate agenda. They're all corrupt to the core and we're lucky to have few media houses, independent and corporate that still tell the truth so we see the truth and light of day. And frankly I'm surprised at this day and age at any tart who still sees US govt and their policies and activities as anything worthy of being decent. I can always read the room because now they're all stuck in their programming which is easy to read. The only ones who don't see it are delusional muppets that don't want to believe that they're supporting a terrorist, entitled, hypocritical, imperialistic, greedy, corrupt, evil regime that makes the average bad governing bodies of the world look like saints. Disgusting. I left the US after waking up and smelling the beans with the scam Iraq War and the following ongoing need to fight unecessary wars all over the world for profit. And the hijacking of media houses. It only ends when everyone stops their slumber and wakes up. Spend some time everyday researching global events and news, you'll know better. You can even avoid the Russian biased stuff and still know better.

It is sad to see in our very own country that so many American citizens even many politicians on the right mostly but some on the left as well believe Russian propaganda. There is no real solution because disgruntled citizens now don’t want to hear the truth but instead cling to the lies of those that seek to sow distrust in our government and America as a whole. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord and will continue to stay patriotic Americans. God Bless America and I pray for our great country.

Numbers don’t lie it’s all about the money.

Also its been PROVEN BY ELON. The biggest accounts on Twittet are barely active. It's depressing and unless your on there constantly your comment is ignored. We have millions of views and hundreds of thousands of followers ( wife and family's business ) on KZread, Instagram and Facebook a bit - we used to post more there but after Trump and Covid ruined it we started posting more on TikTok because videos are watched more than people reading. My point is that most people wven celebrities don't bother much with Twitter. It's depressing and people just fight and insult each other. Happy New Year !

I'll watch it and make my own conclusions. If it's run by the government, it's most likely very biased, but perhaps less B.S. than the most prominent USA channels! Sadly (my observation) that honest and unbiased journalism died about ten years ago. Just like the You-tube and other social media, they feed you what you like, final outcome = BRAINWASHING!

Oh that's just what we need, Homeland Security (executive branch) running US elections. Boy that'll assure democracy. Might as well just have one party.

We may well have one party in the upcoming years. maga has ruined itself over it's abortion policies as well as other overreaching such as denying the will of the voters in maga controlled states. maga has been losing elections for the GOP since 2016. Now the mega donors want nothing to do with maga anymore and the GOP on t he state and national party levels are not able to raise the money they need. According to McConnell, the only way the GOP can win is with mega donors and gerrymandering. Even when they had those, the mega donors are gone now, they're still losing elections, even in deep red states. Bye bye GOP

My main comment says just that. I never even knew about that bombing. I feel like an idiot to admit that but I was in a traveling band and in the film industry. Didn't pay attention to politics like I do now. I was just going to look it up. So now ALL Russians hate America forever? Seems childish. That was a decision made by specific government people. I'm sure just like with Vietnam people here in US didn't like it. Most people adults today didn't have anything to do with it So they thought helping Trump get elected would help their country? How? He can't stay president forever. Or there will be a civil war. I just read someplace that even if he tried, the White House is owned by the people of the U.S Etc it and that no matter what he'd have to leave the building. They keep saying he'll try to stay in power, I just can't see how he'd pull that off. God help us if he tries. Again.

If /when Trump is convict of Federal crimes, it would be fitting that his pardons of fellow conspirators be set aside as tainted, and those cases be revisited.

Putin is probably the most famous president in the US, it's interesting how most Americans have a real admiration for him, it will be interesting to ask American why.

My husband visited the Soviet Union on a photography assignment in 1990, just before the breakup. He had a Russian speaking guide. He found people living like peasants. There was a noticable difference in the living conditions of the very wealthy and the rest of the population. In Moscow one day they came upon a line of people stretching three city blocks long. When his interpreter asked one of them what they were waiting for, he answered that they didn't know for sure. He'd just heard that they might have some canned goods and toilet paper. The shower in his so-called five star hotel didn't work, and hadn't worked for over two years. The streets were run by organized crime gangs, from which you could buy anything if you have the money. His camera was almost taken by force twice, and it was only prevented by a fast talking interpreter and a ten dollar bill. Very few people had telephones and the wait time for a phone was an average of five years. Supposedly, things have improved, but a friend of ours was there just before the Ukraine war broke out, and he told us that very little had changed. I imagine that this young woman had a very nice life, so it's no surprise that she would defend her country and the Putin regime. However, the majority of the population is living in abject poverty. Yes, we have poverty in this country as well, but compared to Russia, it's no contest. I wish that she would have asked her about the Russian Oligarchy.

You do realise that much of what you describe above is now also fully applicable to life in the US for huge percentages of people. I know friends whom recently visited and went on an extensive holiday in Canada, and then onto the US. They could not believe what they saw in the US with cities filled with homeless people living in deep poverty and massive drug abuse issues and one of the worst drug death statistics in the world.Indeed the US has one of the worst stats in the world for having a few ultra rich people , and millions living in deep poverty. The gap between rich and poor in the US is massive. So as the saying goes, ''don't throw stones when you live in a glass house''
