Great video, my inlaws recently bought a new dishwasher because the old one "it wasn't cleaning properly" and was "getting old now". 400 notes later and their new machine works great but when ours started doing the same, I watched this video, copied it and it works like new. Literally had no idea how dishwashers worked before this and it's so simple to clean. Told my inlaws and they hadn't checked it but said it was leaving food at the bottom so odds are this video would have saved them alot of cash. Great video and well presented. Share with any mates who have dishwashers and save them money that can be better spent on a good meal and drink-up.... 👍🏻

I’m still using a Miele my friend was throwing out because it was ten years old and didn’t work. I took the door apart and cleaned out the dryer drains, have to do the same every year because it blocks. I’ve now had it for 12 years, so it’s 22 years old now! When I’ve cleaned out the filters , once a month I add 2 dishwasher tablets and some hot water in the base and run it on a full cycle empty.Great machine!.

Wish I had seen that video a week ago before I ordered those same new parts at £29.99 ! My lower filter (as shown in the video ) had broken into small bits. To be fair its lasted 9 years and run maybe 4500 cycles. Good video thank you.

Hi there @aaanton11. I've the same symptoms that you describe in this video. except there's abit of a deeper sound to the machine when running. I've cleaned and cleared all the parts. Checked for damage (there is nothing). I've checked that the pump for the water drainage (akin to your other dish-washer video from 2017) and nothing is blocking that. Here I even used some Electrical earth sheathing as a make-shift "rodder" to go along the pipes! What I did notice on the rinse cycle. I quickly pop open of the door and the spray-arms water power looks weak.. Would you know if there is another pump that drives water through the arms? Thanks and keep up the great videos! Terry

Yes there are 2 pumps, a drain pump and a recycle pump, sounds like your recycle pump might be weak, Thanks for the great comments👍🏻👍🏻🛠

You were right about the dog clippers. So I thought id watch this..we don't get debris in the miele.. but it doesn't wok properly I think the hose is full of grease or something, is my guess.

@@aaanton11 I have checked the filter..and everything inside the machine.. except removing the arms..i willrun hot soapy water through them tomorrow and will comment back if that worked. It was a fabulous machine; you could put dirty dishes in it and have them clean(no prerinse or wiping like all the others). Those clippers.. amazeballs.I suffered so much with an oster.. wondered how gromers survived lol. I got one dog and one other partly done before 9am!!could have done the second but he had an appt with groomer.. she had a bad operation and they were badly matted. big poodle and portidoodle.
