Dishonored 2 | The Clockwork Mansion (Eliminate Jindosh) | High Chaos Creative Stealth Kills

Ойындар

Me: "Boy, it sure took a while, but I'm finally good enough at this game to stand alongside that StealthGamer fella!"
12 year old Chinese child releasing gameplay videos advanced to the point of being incomprehensible:
FighterTree7633. Find his videos on Bilibili.
New title format since I don't want to start making "rereremakes", and I think this is more final; I probably won't touch the Clockwork Mansion again.
At the end, no third witch spawns. I honestly don't know why. I searched around for them, but seemingly the actions I took when I was in Lower Aventa caused the third witch to either fail to appear, die after spawning, or otherwise get lost.
This mission is fairly complex to route. The main foyer of Jindosh's mansion can have clockwork soldiers from different parts of the mansion (specifically, two from within the walls, and two from the upper foyer) who can be pulled into the lower foyer area depending on whether you've taken Sokolov, if Jindosh is dead, what room you're entering the foyer from, etc. The trouble is that when the soldiers from upstairs are pulled into the lower foyer, they displace the four-armed soldier who is normally there by default, causing them to start wandering and potentially getting stuck in weird parts of the map.
Further, if you accidentally aggro the soldiers in the wall, they can somehow teleport into the lower foyer despite the fact that there should be no valid route for them to do so. Additionally, Jindosh spends a lot of time commenting on your actions, and you can't splice while he's talking because you'd be obviously cutting his dialogue off, meaning that I actually had to manipulate dialogue triggers at points to override statements that he would make, either making him shut up sooner, or say nothing at a later point in the same segment.
This video took a long time to make, not because the tricks were hard or anything but because I tried my best to learn new ways of doing everything. You'll notice that I only started lean-dodging bullets within the past two videos; that's because I only just realised how to consistently do it. I also experimented a lot with killing clockwork soldiers, but unfortunately, couldn't find many entertaining patterns to exploit.
About bullet deflections:
- After firing: can only bounce off metal surfaces
- After first bounce: will bounce off humans if it kills them, but not metal again
- After second bounce: phases through flesh without bouncing but still deals damage
So, one of the more common questions I get asked in the comments is how many hours I have in this game, and my usual answer is "far too many". Which is true. But I've never been able to give a solid answer, because I never gave it too much thought before now.
-- My first encounter with Dishonored 2 was in September 2020. I completed maybe 3-4 full game playthroughs up to December. In January 2021, I made the "Knife and Pistol only" videos for my channel, and then didn't touch the game for ages. The Knife and Pistol videos are 13 hours in total, while the previous playthroughs were probably within the range of 10-15 hours long. I would guesstimate a total playtime by the end of January 2021 of 50 hours.
-- In May of 2021 I made the "No KO no detections" videos on my channel, which were admittedly extremely low-skill because I still had the benefit of supernatural powers. This took maybe 10 hours for me to make? The length of an average playthrough when you're actively doing nothing. Total playtime to this point; 60 hours.
-- From the 31st of May to the 3rd of June, I made the original "High Chaos Massacre" series, which was my attempt to replicate StealthGamerBR. I literally released 4-5 videos per day during this time, so I can't imagine I put much effort into them. An extreme highball estimate of how much time it took me to make them would be ~15 hours. Total playtime: 75 hours.
-- In early 2022, I made the purist melee videos, which basically took like 30 minutes each to record. They probably added another 5 hours to my playtime, after which I immediately dropped the game. 80 hours.
-- In late 2022 I started making the Creative Kills series. I have extremely solid numbers in terms of how long I played the game since then until now, since I've played exclusively on Game Pass and GOG, both of which track playtime. In total, to date, I've made 21 Creative Kills videos, including remakes and reremakes. I honestly figured the number was significantly higher, but whatever. I'm told I have 113 hours on Game Pass and 241 on GOG, indicating that they add up to around 350 hours. Total playtime; 430 hours. That's almost 20 days of my actual, finite life.

I ran out of space in the description, so I'll put something positive here: it's a ton of fun to make these videos and I'm glad there's people who enjoy my silly little pass time :)

"Hey guys, it's ya boi Mr. Beast coming at you with another 24 hour challenge! I'll be spending an entire day inside the Clockwork Mansion along with a dozen 10 foot tall automated killing machines and mechanised crushing hazards, and if I'm dead by the end of it, we'll be donating a million coins to the Addermire Institute of Medicine. I'd like to give a huge shoutout to Jindosh Clockworks for sponsoring this challenge, and the big man Kirin Jindosh himself, who'll be commentating this video live on my Twitch channel. With that out of the way, let's get right into the action!"
