The Kennedy name does not carry the weight even in the United States it once did. Robert Kennedy Jr. has questioned the wisdom of the selection and rightly so. It was created to honor the work of Robert Kennedy who was assassinated in 1968. I believe awards have been given to recipients in 24 countries over the years it is given to an individual Individuals or organizations. It is seldom newsworthy unless the recipients are very high profile as in the case of Presidents Clinton and Obama. I cannot recall it ever being televised or receiving much press if any. Other than the two presidents I cannot identify another recipient. I was just providing the little info I know about it. Have a great week!

At least they are digging their own hole that they are unlikely to get out of. They aren't dragging the royals down with them yet but keeping those titles that show differnces in social inequality (according to our Constitution) while spouting about equality is pretty ironic. I just can't believe they were allowed to use them outside of the Commonwealth. It's also true that by taking the title she has revoked her title of US citizen. Why is our Constitution being ignored? Throw them both out.

The most grievous lie is the campaign on the part of British media and biographers, the latter have never once mentioned the blackamoor brooch incident, to totally 'whitewash' the most glaring example of BRF structural racism. I find it strange how so many people make so much fuss about unproven theories, such as if Prince Andrew is an abuser for going to Epstein's parties, then is Margaret Thatcher for spending every new year with Jimmy Savile? I am also bewildered by this award H&M are getting. It cheapens the award for President Zelensky. What have they done but throw out accusations with no proof. If you need therapy, go and work it out privately. It's so ugly to see this play out publicly. I also agree Edward deserves the Duke of Edinburgh title. There are not enough royals and the slimed down monarchy is too much on pressure on the Senior Royals. I think the King needs to be more gracious and generous.

As i understand it, there is a bill currently going to parliament which will enable the King to remove their titles. However, Harry will always be a prince as its his birthright. I shouldn't worry too much, the marriage wont last.

She didn't seem to realise that the royals first and foremost are diplomats, which considering she swindled her way into an embassy with the intention to stay (before failing her exams), seems a little daft on her part. They are neutral and rise above the government squabbling which goes on. She was given a position of trust, which is actually a real honour. In return she was given a life and money which few of us can imagine. Unfortunately, madam thought it was all about her, and completely missed the whole service to the Crown, nation and commonwealth. These people raise millions for charities year after year. Promoting causes, sponsoring causes and setting up trusts and foundations. Each engagement is as vital as the next, be it opening a hospital wing, or greeting foreign dignitaries. She proved herself to be a public relations nightmare, and diplomatic incidents had to be ironed over almost immediately. I expect everyone within the Royal Family and establishment breathed a sign of relief when they stepped down. They remain family, unfortunately yes, but they are blacklisted from the family business. And even H, who enjoyed his white privilege life (whatever he has been told to think otherwise). He has shamefully turned his back on it all, because it doesn't suit their false narrative. Where is H gone? He has been dissolving from day one. He was reshaped, but now he seems to be getting erased!

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! There's a Line that H is Crossing that he'll NEVER be able to Return From! So far he's managed to maintain about 10ppl more than M still in his Camp, but now it will dwindle even Lower! Once the Book comes out, his Popularity will Plumment to SubZero! When you dive into anything she does, there's always a twist and turn that points to shady dealings.

I really hope that Prince Edward is given the Duke of Edinburgh's title, if only to respect the late Prince Philip's wish. He had to accept all sorts of things related to his name (i.e. the royal family is not the House of Mountbatten), so maybe this wish should be honored. I just think King Charles is waiting until after the coronation, perhaps for Prince Edward's 60th birthday. Whatever happens Charles will need more support when older working royals pass as there are more and more charities needing royal patronage.

I can’t believe that a person can receive an award, knowing that they both told faced lies. I’m not sure if they are thick skinned or just thick. We all know that the truth and that is, the Prince and Princess of Wales are in town and they are trying to take the shine off William and Catherine.

Absurdly, it takes an Act of Parliament to remove titles gifted by the Monarch. There is the “Remove the Titles Bill” in Parliament now, second reading December 9. The Bill was launched by an MP in relation to stripping Prince Andrew of his title, but, if passed by Parliament, could be used to strip Prince Harry of his title as well. That doesn’t make it automatic, but, gives the King the power to remove titles - a power he doesn’t have now.

American here completely agree. They both need to be booted out. There are still a couple countries that haven't banished them. Japan for one but it won't last long as they are into respect for all and mm has no respect for anyone , including herself.

Do not bring those two back. The Monarchy will lose support.

PE deserves the title but maybe it could be made non hereditary so that each monarch can decide whether the title is bestowed on anyone.

I wonder about what the kids are going say about genetic pain since they're parents have them in nursery school all day and they're constantly flying around and left with nannies for days and weeks at a time.

Charles should absolutely give Edward and Sophie the title that was promised. It doesn't matter what reason he gives he will lose a lot of the public goodwill if he does not follow through on this promise. He should also do something with Andrew. He will become a loose cannon if left to his own devices. If there is no way he will have a public role again then he must be talked to and given some kind of a job to do.

OMG. YES. to Edward. This was promised to him by his Mother the Queen, and his father the Duke. The King has to respect that.

There is another side to this. I thought that both Edward and Sophie preferred not to have their children given titles until they could decide for themselves. If Edward was made Duke of Edinburgh, his son would automatically given the title after Edward's demise. Perhap that is why the title is being withheld just now?

I read that one of the producers of the Harry and Megain show is tied to Kerry Kennedy. Can't remember the details but there is more to the story.

Grotty is exactly right reference the podcasts and the award too.

I honestly don't think the RFK award being given to harry and Meghan is genuine. If you look at how much the foundation is selling seats at their table for ($1million!) then it simply looks like what it is.....a way for the foundation to make money. Kerry Kennedy doesn't care who she gives it to as long as they make her money for the foundation in the process. I'm absolutely disgusted that Harry is again throwing his family and his supposed beloved grandmother, whom he respected above everyone else, under the bus for the sake of his and his wifes image! Imagine doing that to your family......it takes a special person to be so heartless. I hope King Charles removes all titles from harry and Meghan, I don't care if its Harry's birth right or not, they have shown they don't deserve them. I truly hope the Prince and Princess of Wales outdo them in the publicity with their Kennedy family encounter and the Earthshot prize, that will hurt their ego's!

Don't know why? He knows that currently King Charles cannot remove titles! It takes an act of Parliament to change the law, (as our government rules the country not the constitutional Monarchy). Then King Charles can act. For a royal expert, I'm surprised he made that silly statement and mistake.

By not reporting correctly you’re minimising the damage of Harry and Megan. It’s structural racism within the royal family, that means it’s not one person but that racism is widespread throughout the entire monarchy, royals, staff, everyone. Allowing theses two to keep their titles is dangerous just to hope Harry will come ‘home’ is more than irresponsible. It’s bad for the country.

As an American I've never even heard about this award being given to them until seeing this video. We don't take anything Harry and Meghan say at face value! Kennedy has lost its charm in the name here.

Wow! The photos show the distinct difference in ages between the siblings. Is it true that Andrew fought to prevent Charles from becoming king and have himself set up as regent to William? If that is true why is Andrew surprised to find himself in his current ousted position? This should not prevent siblings from socializing, as long as treasonous discussions don’t take place. Another reason why KC3 discourages these meetings perhaps, leading back to Andrew’s own actions as the cause.

I do not believe Prince Andrew's accuser, Virginia. Why was she in that party in the first place and why was she smiling in the photo?
