Looks, and tastes amazing. Haven't actually tried it, but have tried all the ingredients separately and joining flavours together is something my brain simulates with surprisingly high accuracy. Thanks for sharing this wonderful simple recipe idea. 🙂

It's so good!

I love hunting for mushrooms but I just don't care for them but I continue to try them. Morels will be popping up in a month or so, my friends love when I drop off a basket to them.

Yes I have, softer the UK version and you prefer what you grow up with. The Swiss have a version too.

The difference maker has to be the butter. Have,and love marmite (but not the antipodean cousin,vegemite),the butter makes it happen. White truffle,sadly I’ve never had the honor of adding that to this combo😫

1 of your long time subs here. I googled marmite because I live in Wyoming. Seems it's compared to axle grease & made from concentrated yeast extract. Ick! I do like butter on bread. Truffles-Not sure about that. I'll try truffles if you try Rocky Mountain Oysters. I'm going to Keystone, Wyo this summer with my metal detector. Wish me luck! Take Care, John & Amy(woof)

I'll leave those oysters and the sea oysters alone. I have had snails, but the were completely soaked in butter, garlic and chives on top. All you taste is the yummy bit. The snail just slides down...no taste.

@@a.j.dickey5167 Rocky Mtn Oysters are bull balls. Breaded, deep fried & yummy. Tried escargot/snails & not impressed. Along with calamari/squid. & Tried raw oyster, just a big loogie. You don't until you try. Like the most stupid question is the 1 never asked.

Oh, I know what Mtn oysters are, for sure!

Sometimes the oddest sounding sandwich combos are the best. Like peanut butter, tomato and cracked pepper - a favourite of mine. But it has to be proper peanut butter, just peanuts, nothing else. And, as I watched your prep, I started wondering it you were, flavour wise, simply upgrading a marmite sandwich to an expensive vegemite one. 😂 As I've always found marmite a weaker flavour to vegemite.

@@a.j.dickey5167 actually, we do similar. Mayo on one slice of bread then salami, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and then peanut butter on other slice. Whole grain bread works best. Metwurst can substitute salami. Family favourite. Or gerkin (kosher pickle), jarlsberg cheese and liverwurst on toasted sourdough. Yup, when you're an Aussie/German blend raise in a mostly Asian/ Aussie location like me, you get weird flavour blends. 😁

Chill bill you never store or put your finds fungi in plastic bags it turns them all sweating mush attract fruit flies tiny annoying buggers but great video I subscribe my family are from South italy where mushroom hunting and wild asparagus and wild boar are something I dabbles in but get a good stick with something on end to cut brambles away 1👍🦊🐾🇮🇹🇬🇧

@@ChillBill1 I concur we had asp vipers snakes in South italy to watch out for kills in 10 mins a bite but wild garlic and asparagus omelet omg yum you not lived till you tried it i has to cheak myself for ticks too latch on you when foraging I has special tick twisters I use on my wild hedghogs I looks after my fox friends won't sit still long enough always up to mischief lol not seen my badger in a while 👍🇬🇧🦊🐾🦡🦔
